Approval map, delayed notification of additional employee

I have an Approval Map use case for sales order that I cannot figure out.Employee is immediately notified.If the employee responds within 14 days the document is completed.If the employee does not respond within 14 days then a second employee is notified.My initial thought was to make two steps, placing a decision wait time on the first step. However, if the first employee responds I do not want the approval to fall to the second employee.Does anyone have any ideas how this can be accomplished? TIA.Russ.

Accounts Receivable Payment Application Error

I am having issues with applying customer payments to invoices. When I either type in the customer invoice number I get the below error. Error: Unhandled exception has occurred, your changes have been rolled back: Error: An error occurred during processing of the field Reference Nbr.: Error: 'Reference Nbr.' cannot be found in the system. I have attempted to use the magnifying glass to search as well, but nothing comes up. The document is open, for the same customer that the payment is being entered for, & I don’t show any other issues that would prevent the application. We have had issues since we upgraded with the “Auto-apply” function, & have been unable to find a fix. We use a work around for applying the payments.

What is the maximum password length for Password in SM200530

In SM200530 the password field is, in the database, 50 characters long. However, if I enter a password like:abcdefghijklmn1234I get an error when saving:Error: Updating the 'Certificate' record failed because data in some field is too long.2021 R1 Build 21.103.0054

Outlook Add-In to Create Project Issue

Trying to create an issue in ACE from Outlook but get the error: CS Error: Cannot generate the next number. Manual Numbering is activated for ‘PROISSUE’. However, in Numbering Sequences, Manual Numbering is not activated for PROISSUE. ???

We have been sending emails regularly and this is the first time we receive this message. These are not spam emails, its information we provide to our customers which they provided their emails. How can I remove this error/flag? 550 5.7.1 Message detected as spam. [1626014335-920365].

How to send email to all members of a workgroup?

Notification templates only allow you to enter a specific user, email address or placeholder for an email address in any of the recipient fields (To, Cc and Bcc). Has anyone identified another way to accomplish this?Email notification to all members of workgroup to which entity is assigned identifies a similar need, but it applies to entities assigned to workgroups. In my case, I want to send the emails to members of a workgroup of my choosing, even one not assigned to the entity. For example, on creation of a new vendor, I want to send a notification to everyone in an AP workgroup.

How to add new Activity Type with Activity Class = Task

I’d like to add a new Activity Type for a customer, but when I click the ‘+’ button, the Class field defaults to “Activity” and I can’t change it.I’d like the Class for the new Type to be “Task” so that the Start Date, Due Date and Reminder fields are available.Is there a way to do this?Thank you!

Hi, is there a work around process whereby a client orders stock items and the system compares the stock item/color and quantities ordered to already defined Kits. If an exact match is found, then the order will be converted automatically to a kit.

Link to an email

We are trying to create an business event to alert users when they leave emails in draft status. We have everything running fine except we have not found a way to link directly to the draft email. I have tried duplicating the URL structure you get when you go to the all emails screen and click on an email (I substitute the noteID with the correct one), but that ends up taking us to a blank email. Anyone have a good URL that goes directly to an email?

Business Card Recognition - phone number improvements

In 2021 R1, Acumatica provided the ability to take pictures of business cards and automatically add them as leads or contacts using an AI/ML engine. In many situations, the business phone number was not recognized (see image 1 below). In this case the user has to push the phone 1 button and select the phone number. To address this issue, we now have a customization project which eliminates this manual step (see image 2 below). Inventory summary shows negative receipts for fully posted transactions

As the title says, we have 3 items that show Unassigned for the location and show negative Purchase Order Quantity, which upon drill down shows they are PO Receipts that are fully released all the way into the INTran record. Our SysAdmin is on vacation, and I can’t find the root cause or solution. The items are serialized. Also worth noting, these are not for “real” purchase orders and therefore are never processed for AP Bills.Looking for insight on where to look for the root cause or how to clear this up.

Mobile App - How to add file upload widget

I need the ability to upload pictures from the Gallery area of a phone into a mobile Shipments widget I created.Basically what I want to do is once I go into the shipments order be able to upload, from my phone and the mobile app, a picture to that shipment.My apologies also. WHERE I want to add this picture is to the specific Line Item of the shipment. I already know I can click the “paper clip” and upload a file to the shipment order document. I want to add pictures to shipment line items.How do I do that? (I can include the WDSL, which is very basic right now, if needed.)The shipment widget I created I am attaching screenshots of.

Contact to be a part of Multiple Business Accounts

Hi, Is there a way to tie the same contact to multiple business accounts? Currently I have to create a new contact for each business account and it does not allow you to search other contacts and add them. This creates duplication for contacts. Example: Contact A, can exist under Business Account 1, BA 2, and BA 3. RegardsAmrit

Generating Shipments from an SO via REST API

Hi i have been having a strange issue when creating a shipment of a sales order via the API This is the standard endpoint i am using: (replaced my base address)https://baseaddress/entity/Default/18.200.001/ShipmentAnd the request:{ "Type":{"value":"Shipment"}, "CustomerID":{"value":"TEST1"}, "LocationID":{"value":"MAIN"}, "WarehouseID":{"value":"WAREHOUSE1"}, "Details":[ { "OrderType":{"value":"SA"}, "OrderNbr":{"value":"ORDER123"} } ]}This does create a shipment for the order however the shipment number it creates has already been allocated to another shipment on the system. What could i be missing here? the Shipment number i an expecting is a new one that has not been previously allocated to any sales order.

Projects with deposit/prepayment

I would like to setup the Project module to track our consulting projects, most of which are prepaid. For example, let’s say we invoice a customer for 8 hours of work. I would like this to show up as a liability in our GL and project.As our consultants work on the project, I would like the project billing to automatically deduct from the prepaid amount and to generate a $0 invoice. Can this be automated? It doesn’t look like you can have an allocation or billing rule that looks at the balance of another account group in the formula, so I’m not sure it is possible. The expectation is that consultants will not go over the number of hours that have been sold without an approval so I would actually be fine having to look at a custom report that shows projects that are over budget… Guidance/advice from project experts is appreciated 😊P.S. there should be a “Project” sub forum on this community!

How come the Project Selector is not showing in the Purchase Order screen (PO301000)?

Does anyone know how to make the Project selector visible in the Purchase Order screen PO301000?In the PO301000 screen, I can see Project in the 2nd columnBut when I go to the screen, Project is not visible after Owner as shown below Thanks Mark
