“Next Billing Date” for one of my leases says  06/01/2022. I am trying to advance it to 7/1/2022, or even better 8/1/2022, since I ran July invoices already.

On the LEASE page, I tried to run Contract billing, but I get this error message: Unable to cast object of type 'PX.Data.PXCommandPreparingException' to type 'PX.Data.PXOuterException'.

I also tried to change the dates on my Charge Schedule, but it didn’t work.

I fixed it!

The issue: So I had a lease that expired 6/14/2022. I renewed the lease, but had an issue with the next bill date being 6/1/2022. I tried to run Contract Billing, but got the error message described in my orginal post here. I could not change my Next Billing Date from 6/1/2022 to 7/1/2022 without getting an error.

The Solution: Since the lease expired 6/14, the Charge Code for the current rent was until 6/14. I noticed how there was a pro-rated invoice that ran for June 1st to June 14th. So I created a new charge code starting June 15th to finish the month of run. Ran Contract billing and now it says the Next Bill Date is 7/1/2022!
