Can I put customer balance on SO screen(SO301000) without writing code

Hello, I know a little about customization projects but I am still afraid of writing code. I have a requirement that to display customer credit limit and customer balance on SO screen (SO301000) . For customer credit limit, the SO screen already have “cusotmer” Data view, and that view has customer credit limit, so I can simply use it. However customer balance exists in “customerbalance” view, and this view does NOT associate with SO screen right now. SO I can not use it directly. I know probably with code writing that as BQL or something, I can get the customer balance.But I am wondering is there a better/easier way I can achieve this requirement. Thank you in advance. If I have to use code, can somebody give me a sample for reference?

Bill selection in a vendor payment

Hi:There was a focus group on selecting/checking off bills in a vendor payment. The check off proposed feature was very interesting. However I could not find that feature in 2019R2 and 2020R1. Was that ever implemented? This was documented in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6yTlgJ8dmsThe same feature was discussed for AR. Silent login to Acumatica

Any idea how to bypass the login screen and auto-login using user id and pwd to Acumatica URL and access the page so thereby a user doesn’t need to fill the credentials? I assume this shld be possible as we can see help.acumatica.com working without needing to login (wondering). What’s the use of this? You can auto-login for your application/web page and allow the user to access from a valid link, this can be used for approvals, online proofing or other usage.

How can I put "Month" as a single parameter in Generic inquiry or Report Designer

Hello, I know “Date to” and “Date From” are more flexible. But sometimes, the data are just required in terms of “Month” range. So, to make the user just select 1 time, I am looking for a way to set a single parameter, like Month with data source “Jan, Feb, Mar,,,,” and so on. I’ve tried the Fin Period, which, of course, currently set exactly as the Month range. However, Fin period of My designed GIs can not be selected by user, it is a text input format, which is not convenient for user to use. While the some of original Screens can be selected. So, can anyone guide me how to do it like the above?

The new AP OCR ML feature is great if you are only using AP bill processing. Many clients have purchasing/receiving and it would be great to incorporate an option to select if the AP bill is related to a PO so the receipt information can be pulled into the bill.

Can I use Manual Numbering Sequence for importing Sales Orders, Customers from Shopify or BigCommerce

No, You can not use Manual Numbering Sequence for importing new Sales Order, Customers, Customer Locations. Commerce Connector would import multiple records per minute so it has to be use Automatic Numbering Sequence for the smooth synchronization process. So please make sure you select Auto Numbering for Customer, Customer Location in the Customer Settings tab and Sales Order type that you selected in Order Settings of Stores page in Commerce Connector for Shopify and BigCommerce is configured to use Auto Numbering.

Restriction Group for non-stock item not seeing Inventory Item Access form

I want to have only certain users be able to access some specific Expense Accounts that are tied to non-stock items. We are using non-stock items but not inventory. I have enabled Row-level security and created my restriction group and have also created the restriction group by GL Account and that is working and only the users that have access can see those GL accounts. When I go to the non-stock item, and click Actions | View Restrictions Group, I receive an error "The requested resources is not available. The required configuration data is not entered on the IN Setup form." If I enabled Inventory, I now see the option. Does inventory have to enabled to use the Restriction Group feature for non-stock items? If so, what is the minimal setup of inventory that has to be done and is that going to affect anything else in Acumatica if I’m not using inventory?

Issue Adding Second Customer Payment through Scren Based API

We Add Customer Payments through Acumatica’s Screen Based API (We use Authorize.NET’s Customer Information Manager for processing). It works fine for a customer’s first payment method. When we attempt to add a new Payment Method (Same CustomerProfileId but different PaymentProfileId), it doesn’t throw an exception but it does not add. It returns the existing Payment Method Token. Business Event to Notify of Appointment Assignment

We want employees to receive an email notification when an appointment has been assigned to them. If it simplifies things, I believe we can send all such emails to the same fixed email address, and then have MS Exchange/Outlook forward the messages to the correct employee. I’ve set up a Business Event to send an email when the appointment record changes, but it never sends the email, not even to a hard-coded fixed email address. Similar functionality seems to work okay when the Appointments screen header info changes, but the Staff is assigned on a tab on the page. Is the problem the fact that it’s a tab? Please help!

The same details I have configured in other instance of same version observed it is working fine.Also verified by unpublishing the package still NOT working getting the same error. Trouble Setting Up a System Email Account

I have 2 tenants in our Acumatica install (single server). Test and Live. On our Test tenant I was able to get a System Email account added, setup and working perfect. However on our Live tenant, after mirroring the settings exactly like the account on the Test tenant, after clicking the [TEST] button, it just spins, and the Elapsed Time just keeps counting.I've triple checked the system email account settings, everything matches.Some notes:The spinner "Press to abort", does nothing.System Management -> System Monitor does show the running process. However the ABORT button does nothing. How can you dynamily define the data source in a column set

I would like create a monthly P&L that uses the Actuals ledger for Start Period through End Period and then uses Budget ledger for “End Period +1” through Period 12.Currently I update the data source in the appropriate column each month within the column set. Freeze column or row in ARM reports?

Hi,I have multiple trending P&L Reports that I’ve created where you lose the first column (GL account titles) as you scroll to the right. Similarly, as you scroll down through the reports, you lose the column headers telling you what period you’re looking at. Does anyone know of a way to freeze columns/rows? Thanks

Edit Access via Report Designer after 2020 r2 upgrade

After an upgrade to 2020 R2, I cannot access the edit button (Pencil) on reports & forms. The Report Designer role is assigned to the user. The user is Admin with Administrator Role & Customizer Role. Is there something else to select?This is happening at 2 different instances. Since this was working on them both prior to the upgrade, I don’t think it is a security issue. If the report/form was previously midified, I can edit the version. but not the base version.

View Activities by Campaign

I am building out a dashboard to monitor campaign activities and I can’t figure out how to connect the CRCampaign and CRActivity tables. The CRActivity table doesn’t have the CampaignID as a field. It does show the campaign, but not as expected [CampaignID, CampaignDesc].Any thoughts on how to pull this off would be appreciated!

Fixed Asset Depreciation: Units-of-Production

Acumatica supports Fixed Assets Depreciation by “units-of-Production” on top of the usual Straight-Line and Declining-Balance.This ‘units-of-production’ depreciation is useful, especially for the Construction Industry where the Assets are depreciated by the usage-of-the-Assets during construction. While this is documented as available, there is no instruction of how to set this up.
