We recently upgraded to 23R1 and are interested in turning on the Order Types for Export feature under Shopify Stores > Order Settings in Acumatica. However, we’re trying to get a better understanding of what will happen once we select the order types that we want to export to Shopify.

Does anyone know if the connector will sync all historical orders of those types? Or will it sync only new orders from that point on? Is there a way to control which orders are synced?

@mikeho , it would sync all of them (historical), but if you use a filter on the export filter tab of the entities screen (sales order entity), then you’re good.

Thanks, @Yuri Karpenko! I assume you mean we can filter by the order creation date or something like that if we want to prevent historical orders from syncing?

@mikeho , that’s correct. You can use an order date to filter out historical orders.

@Yuri Karpenko - do you know what happens if you export an order from Acumatica to Shopify that has a product that is either in Draft status in Shopify or is not synced to Shopify at all?

@mikeho , yes, it will error on the export. The order won’t be saved in Shopify.
