report designer error

Hello,

I have this long error message upon accessing server in report designer (opening from folder is okay, but opening from server or saving to server gets an error).

Does anybody know how to resolve this? I cannot use Report Designer for sometime now. Please help.

It seems like your report designer may be out of sync with your current Acumatica Instance version.

I would try installing the matching version of the Acumatica ERP installer MSI and/or updating your Acumatica instance, so both the report designer and Acumatica site are matching versions.

 

If the issue persists, you may need to manually open and edit the report contents to “fix” the XML on the server version that is giving issues.

Hi. Thanks for the answer. But how do I get to know or choose what Report Designer version I install? Or about the Acumatica Instance, I checked and we’re using 21.22.0018

so this is what I installed. How do I know the version of Report Designer when it just prompts me to check Install Report Designer upon installing acumatica erp?

Hi @paula012 - Some areas such as Ideas and KBs are limited to customer and partner roles which come over from your business account in Acumatica CRM. Your partner business account manager would need to give you that access. The community platform doesn't control access.

Oh and as an addition to this, I’m not having a problem with one report. I literally can’t open any report when opening from server. What should I do? Thanks!
