Hi,

Is there any option to define a scrap factor for a finished good item or subassembly. This factor should be considered in MRP in deciding the material requirement.

Thanks,

Nadeeka

Hi @nswaranamalie30 were you able to find a solution? Thank you!

Hi @andrestamour43

Thank you for the explanation. I am looking to add a wastage percentage to the Finished good item without adding the factor to the components. I need to setup a fixed wastage to FG which also considers in MRP (Is there any option to set the rate it in the stock item form or any other form)

Thanks,

Nadeeka

@nswaranamalie30

Is the scrap 1kg of Component 1 and 1kg of component 2 in the example above?

So if I want to make 20kg of X I would need 11kg of comp 1 and 11kg of comp 2?

If I am understanding correctly then I would recommend exploring the scrap factor for materials on the BOM Material grid.
