I have user who wants their salespeople to only see Sales Orders of a certain type in the primary list. A filter is not enough, they want All Records to be hidden. But they want users to open Sales Orders on the entry screen and have delete level access. Also want this in mobile app. My idea was to remove primary list as replacement for entry screen, and make a copy of primary list with desired restriction on sales order type. That way they can have entry screen without having the unrestricted primary list.
In a test environment, I removed primary list as replacement of entry screen. Created copy of primary list with desired conditions. Kept Sales Orders as the entry screen on both. Added new GI to mobile workspace. It appeared, but no option to insert records in mobile (screenshot attached), even though there was in browser. I then tried adding the entry screen to the mobile workspace as well (screenshot attached), but still doesn’t work.
