Is there any way to force the User Customer’s Account box to be checked, by default, when the Ship Via selected is related to the Carrier where the customer has an account setup?

View originalAfter creating a business event, I discovered that this all works as it should. As long as:
The customer has an account in the Carrier and the Ship Via Selected is associated with the carrier. That box IS checked automatically.
I ended up creating a business event which works. But wondering if anyone else has encountered this request.
