Planning Method in Item Warehouse Details

Is there a way to change the Planning method for the item in Item Warehouse details as the field is read only in Acumatica 2023

As a note, this new functionality broke how some people do business, and Acumatica is going to be adding in the ability to change it at the item warehouse details.

It comes from the Item itself and the warehouse combo.

Here is what the helps says:

Planning Method The planning method used for the stock items. One of the following options can be selected:
  • None: If the stock item should not be planned using Inventory Replenishment, and Material Requirements Planning, then the planning method is None.
  • MRP: If the Material Requirements Planning feature is enabled is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, then the stock item is planned using the MRP planning method.
  • Inventory Replenishment: If the Inventory Replenishment feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form, then the stock item is planned using the Inventory Replenishment feature, and the planning method is Inventory Replenishment.
This box is enabled only if the Distribution Requirement Planning, Material Requirement Planning, or Inventory Replenishment feature is enabled on the Enable/Disable Features (CS100000) form.

Currently the planning method on Item Warehouse Details is read-only. The planning method defaults from the stock item. This was a new field introduced in 2023R2 to indicate if the stock item is planned using MRP/DRP or Inventory Replenishment or None. Notice that the MRP Item check box on Stock Items on the Manufacturing tab is no longer present. Instead, the planning method drop down on the general tab on Stock Items is used.

What tab is this on for the Inventory Item detail as this does not look like the standard screen with regard to the display only fields.
