I am currently running the Acumatica Instance on my localhost but it is not secure as it is in HTTP form now in order to do the integration i need to make the http to https now i have seen many documentations and forms to get the SSL certificate but one of my seniors suggested me to use the Ngrok or other alternatives like ngrok. So can i host the Acumatica on the Ngrok or i need to do this SSL certificate thing in order to make the Http to Https ?
Can we use the NGROK host to host the Acumatica Instance instead of localhost ?
Hi
Currently Acumatica must be setup on a Windows environment under IIS. Here are all the server requirements in detail:
Acumatica is working on a new version in .NET core that probably will allow you to host it in a different configuration.
@Leonardo Justiniano,
Thank you for your reply. I need to make my http://localhost/AcumaticaERP
to https://localhost/AcumaticaERP
. So, I am asking: Can I use Ngrok or Localtunnel to host it, or is it mandatory to have an IIS certificate for making it HTTPS for my integration, which I need to do now?
Is there any option to use these two in Acumatica ERP? Because when I was deploying my new instance 15 days ago, I didn't see any option to change the base URL of the Acumatica. I need to have a base URL that is in HTTPS format for doing the integration.
