Good Morning,We are attempting to create a live sync with a sales demo site with a dev sales force site. Everything works except for the live sync. If we go to the salesforce sync page in acumatica and start the processes. Acumatica comes back and says all is good, no error messages. However the status of the SalesForce Sync is always Stopped. I’ve seen video’s and screenshots of that status as “Running”. I’m out of ideas of why this isn’t running and staying as running.As mentioned early i’ve run a full resync and all the data comes in and goes out to SalesForce. Its just the Live sync that doesn’t seem to want to work.Appreciate the help!
We have a complex problem that I’m looking for creative solutions for. We have many serialized items and many of those are part of kits. But kit or no kit, it appears that you cannot have a quantity >1 on a Sales Order if the item is serialized as there is only one Serial# field for that row. So I kind of understand why, but for an end user to sell 50 items, they have to enter that item 50 times in the sales order. That is grossly inefficient. It is also not customer friendly as we assume it will also show 50 rows on the invoice to the customer instead of just Qty 50.Add in the kit issue (and yes, we do have Kit Exploder from BizTech) and it makes it an even bigger problem for us. I find it hard to believe we are the only company with this scenario/issue so just hoping to brainstorm some possible solutions or even work-arounds. Thanks!!

Good morning!When i convert a sales quote int he CRM to a sales order, it assigns the wrong branch. Is there a setting somewhere that i can manage this through? the sales quote in the CRM does not have the option to choose a branch so when it is converted i guess it just automatically defaults to our ABC branch? I feel like i am just missing a setting somewhere but i have looked and can not figure out where it would be. Any help is much appreciated :) Thanks in advance!
Business task - CR Quotes (from Opportunities) are emailed to the prospective customer. The quote is attached as a pdf. After a month, we wanted to send a follow-up email to see if there are any questions or if the quote is “dead”.Setup - We created an email template for the follow-up which includes the new verbiage as well as the original email verbiage. (Did this so that the new verbiage is at the top of the email rather than the bottom - a known issue in Acumatica.)Process - The original quote email is opened, select “Forward” (so that the pdf is still attached), select the follow-up email template and click the “Replace Email Contents” box and hit Select.Problem - The follow-up email is sometimes created, but more often it does not populate. There are no exceptions noted in the trace.We can’t figure out why the template isn’t working or another way to send the follow-up which includes the pdf.Below is the template we are using.Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I am trying to add quoteNbr to my Opportunities screen. I made it to where you can see the column for quoteNbr but nothing populates. What am I missing on my generic inquiry to pull that over???
Hi Team,We are getting the below error when an update is done on CROpportunity table.“Incorrect datetime value: '4095-15-255 255:63:63.1048575' for column 'Tstamp' at row 1”Column tststamp on the table is defined as`tstamp` timestamp(6) NOT NULL DEFAULT CURRENT_TIMESTAMP(6) ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP(6), from my understanding this means if there is no explicit value defined for tststamp, if any update happens the value for tstamp column should be set to current timestamp. Not sure how this invalid value is getting set.
In 23R2 is it possible to restrict user access to lead, opps and BAs using sales territories? My exploration suggests not, but I wanted to ask on the community in case I have missed something obvious.
I’ve been asked to identify business accounts where the ‘owner’ field contains an employee that is no longer active. I can’t figure out how to do this...I assume it’s possible?
Hello,We are running the Salesforce Sync, but suddenly the real time sync has stopped working for BAccounts.I have made sure it’s set to “running” for BAccounts. I have also tried stopping it, and running the “full and failed/missed data” syncs. When I edit or insert a record on Salesforce, I can see the record under the “Salesforce Sync State” screen, with the Status “Modified Externally” and the Operation “Update” and the attempt counter is ZERO!! We need this fixed asap for orders to work right.
Is it normal that the system dont put Won in an opportuynuity which is transfered into a project? Thanks

I’m looking to see if Acumatica has an out of the box SendGrid Dashboard? I’ve seen two basic ones in youtube video’s but even with my VARs help we haven’t been able to confirm an out of the box dashboard is available.
We are coming off an ECISolutions software and migrating to Acumatica. In the mapping of Customers there is a field called Account Ref which I believe links that customer to a GL Account. My question is what actually goes into that field? In ECISolutions there is a field called debnr that is listing the customer number back to the gbkmut table (main GL table). Would it be better to link the Customer Class back to the GL Account(s) or continue using the cusotmer number? The final say of course would be for the Accounting Manager to make that decision.
When I select Print Quote and then SEND, the Sales Quote email template no longer appears for me. When I login as any of our other Users, it works properly.
Does anyone have experience with using a macro-enabled Excel spreadsheet into the line level of Acumatica screens? We have a macro-enabled spreadsheet we use for estimating and would like to use it to load in the detail lines of a quote and are receiving an error message.
Is this a known issue? This happens in 23.101.I enter a configurable product in sales quote, configure it and say the rolled up price is $1,000. The rollup method is Children All.Then I manually override the unit price in the Quote line to $1,100.However, after converted to sales order, the Line Total amount (tab Total) becomes $1,200.It looks like system adds the difference between original price and the manual price into the sales Line Total price. No other charges added such as miscellaneous, freight, etc. Quote: Rolled up price:Converted to Sales Order: If I zero out the quantity (from tab DETAILS), it should put all values to zero however it does not.

Hi,Question 1: can we add additional ‘source tab' list from default list in OPPORTUNITIES > CRM INFO SOURCE SECTION. Possible to customise it or add additional into the names list that we are more familiar for our preference. Currently the default list there is: Organic Search Campaign Referral Other Web Phone Inquiry Purchased List e.g. We would like to change Purchased List into existing customer or web into website or other into events so that we have a more clear understanding of each OPPORTUNITIES comes from which activities that we are doing, Question 2: Also, sometimes appear that from one potential client appear to have 2 source that trigger them engage on the product and services that we provide. Can we add 2 source at once in one same OPPORTUNITIES.
Hello Community,We would like to add a GI to the Customer Portal that would allow a contact associated with a business account to see the sales order detail lines for the parent and child accounts for only that parent business account. I’m afraid that my SQL is a bit rusty, and I can’t recall how to filter the results in the GI such that the contact will only be viewing the data for their respective parent and child accounts.If someone could point me in the right direction of how to do this in the setup of the GI and adding this to the Customer Portal that would be amazing.Many thanksPatrick
i haven’t dove to deep into this but i wanted to see if anyone else has added the Events to “Related Entity”? when you are in any activity type events isn’t an option for the related entity.
