Inactive Contact appears in autocomplete and lookup on an email activity

I have a contact that I have marked inactive.  Yet when try to send an email and I start typing, the autocomplete still shows that inactive contact.  Also if I click on the lookup on the “To” line of the email activity the inactive contact appears there as well.I know you can turn off autocomplete under the user profile, but I do want autocomplete on.   Is there a way to remove past autocomplete entries so it “Forgets” the contact which is now inactive who I may have emailed before? Is there a way to change the Lookup so that Inactive Contacts are not listed?Seems like code(logic) should filter out inactive contacts.

Manipulating Period ID's in Report Designer

I would like to create a report where the user would supply the ending period as a parameter and a hidden parameter would automatically be calculated as the thirteenth period prior to the period supplied by the user.The report will always retrieve data from the current period plus the prior twelve periods.I have tried using the FormatPeriod function with an offset but I get a response stating the FormatPeriod function is undefined.I also want to populate 13 variables for each of the periods selected to use in calculations and placing data on the report.What is the proper syntax for using the FormatPeriod function in Report Designer?

Default period to post

I am looking to set the default period to post on transaction screens (journal entries, AP Bills, A/R invoice etc) to be the last open period for the corresponding module.  Currently when a user enters a bill, the default period to post will be based on the date of the transaction.  An example might be that the oldest open period is period 1 and a user keys an invoice with a date of 2/1.  The default would be the period to post defaulting to period 2.  The goal is to have the period to post automatically default to period 1 since it is the oldest open period.  Any idea on how to do this without a customization?

How can we set search criteria on multiple non-key fields for import scenarios?

My specific question is linked below but just in case it was passed over because it was specific about a particular screen I thought I’d open the question up:How do I specify multiple non-key fields to locate a record in an Import Scenario?  The examples show searching for a customer by the customer name or searching for a detail line on a document by the item number but I don’t see an example when I have to use two (or potentially more) fields to locate the record that I want to update.Original question:

How to Import AR Payments against an Invoice using the SO number

Hi, I am trying to create an AR Payment (AR302000) against a completed Sales Order. I only have the customer & Sales Order number.I’m trying to use the @@ to select the row of the Documents to Apply. The Sales Order is posted to the Customer Order Nbr.field. Here are screenshots of the Import Scenario, the Payments & Application screen showing the Documents to Apply & the error message. I have tried the scenario with the commit boxes checked & unchecked

locales issue? How to make the Desc in email body the same as in the GI screen.

Hello,    We previously enabled system locales/multiple languages.  Now, the inventoryitem.descr looks like right and proper in the GI screen like below:   However, when I am trying to use it in the email template, it is displayed with extra information.  [{en:YIHAI\ 15x1000g\ Seasoned Chili Oil}]    You know, we don’t need the {}，[]  and en： kind of things   How can I make it just look the same as in the Screen.

Restricting the user to only view data for a specific Segment Value

Hi, The Client has 7 Segments in the SUBACCOUNT and the Lookup Mode on the Segment key for SubAccount is “By Segment: All Avail. Segment Values”. One of the segment key is” Department” They would like to setup the restriction so a use can only view the data of the relevant Department when printing the ARMS Report. Can you please let me know if this is possible with the SubAccount setting “Allow Adding New Values On the Fly” Any help will be much appreciated. Many ThanksAdeel Ahmed

Timecard submission bonus

We always complain about timecards being submitted late. We want to give our employees a bonus based on 100% timely submission of their timecard.  The audit report doesnt seem like a good way to gather the data.  How would you suggest we write a report to give us this information

Email Template for AR Invoices

I’m trying to add the primary contact’s name to my email notifications when emailing AR Invoices, e.g. Dear John Smith.But when I try to add a data field, I only get the Primary Contact ID number, e.g. Dear 6689In an earlier version I was able to use the “Attention” field, but now that field is greyed out in the Billing section. I have to manually override the settings and add the contact. Is there a way to add the greeting without having to override all my contacts? It’s too easy to overlook that tab. Thanks

Hi, i trust that everyone is well. We have a device hub setup for scanning documents, but all the documents keeps scanning in duplex but the config is set to 1 sided scanning Scanner: fujitsu sp1130Driver: Paperstream IP (TWAIN) Scanner is tested and working correctly on the Windows side and no duplex problem Any suggestions

Use Master Calendar checkbox on ARM Report

Does anyone know if this Use Master Calendar checkbox on the Report Definitions (CS206000) screen does anything? I have a Company where the Financial Period ID 11-2020 is mapped to the Master Calendar Period ID 02-2021 in the Company Financial Calendar (GL201100) screen: If I make an entry for $60 to period 11-2020: Then I create a report with the Use Master Calendar checkbox unchecked, the $60 appears when I run the report for period 11-2020 which is what I would expect: Then I check the Use Master Calendar checkbox and relaunch the report. But I get the same $60 result in period 11-2020. I was expecting it to be empty because I was expecting to have to run the report for period 02-2021 to see the $60. But when I run the report for period 02-2021, it’s empty which is not what I was expecting. It makes me wonder if the Use Master Calendar checkbox actually does anything or maybe it just got added to the screen with the functionality coming in a future version. I did my testing in Acuma

Discard Changes and Close does not clear the cache with Generic Inquiry

I have a Generic Inquiry screen showing batches to post.  When I select a batch it brings up my form.  If I make any changes to the form and click Cancel button, I get a warning that my changes will be lost.  If I click to continue, the changes are undone. That works perfectly.However, if I click Discard Changes and Close, I get a prompt that I will lose my changes.  I click ok to continue and it takes me back to the Generic Inquiry screen.  When I select that batch again, the form still reflects any changes I made to the Grid.  The Description field is in the form section and it DOES NOT get saved when I reselect the batch to edit.At this point, if I refresh the browser, it redisplays everything as unchanged (good).This is what it looks like before I change anything:If I untick the Errors to clear them, I am updating the details records to clear the errors on the line        protected void _(Events.FieldUpdated<ICSPending, ICSPending.hasErrors> e)        {            ICSPending

Recalculation of the margin after variation of the average cost of the item sold

Is there a way to recalculate the margin of a stock item sold, to take into account a cost adjustment recorded after the sale, but which relates to a receipt prior to the sale ?Example :02/01/2021: purchase receipt of the article with a cost of 100 USD02/01/2021: billing of the purchase receipt with the same cost02/02/2021 : sale of the stock item for a price of 130 USD => margin equal to 30 USD02/03/2021 : landed cost of 10 USD related to the purchase receiptI would like the margin of my sale to be recalculated to 20 USD. Is it possible ?

Customer Credit Card Conversion

Hello, We are in the process of converting a customer from Sage 100 to Acumatica. In Sage 100 the customer has tokenized credit card information. The customer will be using the same credit card processor (Paya) for Acumatica as they used in Sage. The tokenized data should be the same. However we are finding that once converted Paya does not recognize the data. Has anyone done this type of conversion before?

Payroll Issues- Local Taxes not posting and cannot create new PR/DR batches

We are very new to Acumatica and going live in January.  Because of the volume of new installs, we couldn’t get consultation to setup the PR system.  So please forgive the basic nature of these questions. I’ve run a full PR cycle with actual hours and the results were very impressive.  With the exception of the local LST and EIT not calculating the 1% or 1.00 per week.  I’ve updated taxes, assigned to employees, even manually adjusted without success. On top of this after restoring a bu to rid the db of the pr cycle, I no longer have the “+” sign to add a PR/DD cycle. Any help is appreciated.  2020R1 204 version. Thank you

Released Quick Check showing as 'Balanced' on Bank Reconciliation.... Twice!

Can anyone suggest how I might fix this? I have a Quick Check that was released and voided in Payables/Quick Checks. It hit the GL correctly and the transactions were cleared on the Bank Reconciliation. However, the Bank Reconciliation module still shows the Quick Check as two open Balanced transactions. When I click on the hyperlink, it takes me back to the Released transaction. Any idea how I can remove these from my Bank Rec? TIA!

Is there a way to generate 0 shipment qty invoice lines by turning on a switch?

Hello,     This is not a must have requirement, and somehow I can use report designer to fulfill it. We don’t really want the 0 qty invoice line, we just want to display the 0 qty line on printed out invoice.The line which is shipped in 0 , but have been placed in Sales Order.       This requirement is due to some complaint from our customers that they are arguing our order takers have missed their items on Sales order.      So we are tending to put the 0 shipment line on invoice.        I am just wondering, is there a switch to make the 0 shipment line still appear on invoice? Like we are having SO preferences which is allowed to generate 0 shipment line on shipment.     Please advise.

Hi Siri would like to modify existing P&L Report in accumatica system .However i encoutered below issue.According to existing P&L report  there are Q1 . Q2 Q3 and Q4 , Currently, i would like to modify to Q1 and Q2 and delete and column for Q3 and Q4. I encountered the below error message . I would like to cancel column E , F , G . Not sure who can guide me how to delete the column?

How do we achieve master-child relationship using Acumatica Warehouse management scan Module??

We have a requirement to scan multiple vendor lot nbr for scan lot nbr.we have design screen like this we have used scan material and we are able to successfully scan on the master grid and we are not able to scan data on the child grid. what is the best possible way to achieve this??
