Hello.So my DB has significantly increased in size. I suspect the culprit are orphaned snapshots. I had the warning signed in System → Tenants, that there were at least 2 orphaned snapshots but when I clicked on optimize database to remove does orphaned snapshots I got an error almost immediately and then the warning sign disappeared. Is there a way I can manually check in the SQL database to see if there are any orphaned snapshots and to delete all those records from the database? Also when I check the database size in the Acumatica Interface by going to System - Tenants - View Space Usage, it shows the database size is 110GB in total - but SQL Management Studio shows the Database Size is almost 300GB and when I do a manual backup thats about the size of the .bak file... Any pointers as what I can do to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Invalid object name 'InventoryTranHistEnqFilter' in Generic Inquiry

Dear ALL,I created Generic Inquiry using “InventoryTranHistEnqFilter” table. But when I pressed “VIEW INQUIRY” to see the result it gave error “Invalid object name 'InventoryTranHistEnqFilter'”.Please explain the cause of the error and help how to fix it !Many thanks !NNT

Multiple Purchase Receipts against a single PO

I am trying to figure out how to have multiple purchase receipts againt a single PO. For example, if a vendor shipped the PO in staggered shipments, and we want to have multiple receipts against that PO.Can someone post on how this is done? I see that the Purchase Receipt gets linked back to the PO in the “PO History” tab. But I can’t see how to add an additional Purchase Receipt once a single receipt has been entered...

Acumatica WMS - Warehouse should be a default option for users

There needs to be a default warehouse that should be set by the user (or the device). While it is possible to have “warehouses inside warehouses”, in many use cases a worker will always be in the same warehouse. So the mobile app should assume that the user’s warehouse is that default warehouse, with the option to override (i.e. item lookup screen….it shoud default to the worker’s warehouse so this doesn’t have to be entered repeatedly.

Acumatica Distribution Edition - implementation - using vendor and cross reference tabs in stock and non-stock items

Our implementation team has been told we can configure multiple vendors for an item. I’ve also read about using cross references for indicating similar items with one or more vendor.Our consultant suggests we use a generic item for office supplies. something like “Office Supplies” or possibly less general like “Pens” so we don’t have so very many items on our list. We are currently at 3,000 non-stock items. While we aren’t terribly interested in tracking office supplies, but we are concerned with our Purchasing staff having to manually type the details into a purchase order for everything they order. If the items aren’t spelled out, they have to relate the specs for the item (vendor part #, description, price, UOM, etc.) somehow. In an effort to consolidate but spell out the items we order frequently, I played with making an item named “PAPER.LETTER” and taking the 5-10 versions of that paper size and adding them to cross reference with different descriptions. Kit Assembly Best Practices

Greetings everyone!Looking for feedback from the community with regards to management of Kit Assemblies. I’ve scoured high and low and would love to hear what you have tried and what has been learned in the community.When configuring inventory and warehouse settings how do you establish inventory visibility to the subaccount level for kit assemblies? Currently, the only clear identification of the kits I can identify is the [] Is a Kit checkbox? [] I see potential options of using Base Unit, Posting Class or Item Class to support the accounting of kits at a subaccount level. I’ve given thought to using reason codes in the kit assembly process to facilitate accounting of Inventory to the Subaccount level, curious why that isn’t inherent in the system. Disassembly is organic, so why isn’t assembly organic? Labor Batch Fails -

All I have a labor batch that Will release, create the GLBatch and Create the Cost Batch however the cost batch will not process. and the labor batch ends with an error Another Process has added the ‘AMProdEvent’ record. - The labor batch is still in “balanced” status, the Cost Transaction is still in “UNReleased” Status. My assumption is I could probably release the cost transaction. Which would finish the process. But would that close the Labor batch?

When installing my demo instance, redirecting to the website didn’t show the default password already set-up. No I am not sure how to log in. Help with this please.

Prevent deleting item from SO when on drop-ship PO

Hi, I’ve found some instances where a user deleted an item of a SO while not canceling the drop-ship PO. This could be very common when dealing with high volume ecommerce shipments. Is there a way to prevent this from happening? Workflow should be Cancel PO > Remove Item from SO

DeviceHub - 'Printer is not configured in Acumatica Instance' log message

Hello, We are encountering an issue after a recent Acumatica upgrade, with the DeviceHub.Basically, the printer has been configured and was working prior to the upgrade (on version 2021R1), however after installing the latest DeviceHub version 2022R1, the log shows the following message. When I am trying to use the ‘UPDATE PRINTER LIST’ on the ‘Printers’ screen in Acumatica, the DeviceHub log is not registering the request being made from the Acumatica web app. Note: The printer is correctly installed and the machine which is being used to run DeviceHub does have access to it as well. How to join the Approvals (EP503010) form and the Bills and Adjustments (AP301000)

Hello!Documents need to be approved is updated in the dashboard and inquiry for the dashboard is taken from the Approvals form. We want to show the project ID of the document to the dashboard but unfortunately Project ID is not in the Approvals form. Hence we create another inquiry joining Approvals form and the document but it seems not accurate. Is there any possibility to join the Approvals (EP503010) form and the Bills and Adjustments (AP301000), if so please assist me. Regards Amanda

Balance Sheet accounts closing balances By Month in General Inquiry report

I’ve been trying to create a GI report listing all the Balance Sheet account code closing balances at each month end across multiple years. The aim is to export that via API to Power BI in a kind of clean CSV state i.e. no grouping, just rows and columns.So I want one row for each account code and each month end date. My first attempt generated 3,600 rows so it’s not that large a set of data.My attempt is 95% right but it’s missing key values and on reflection I think I’m using the wrong set of tables (or in the wrong way) but the documentation isn’t good enough to work that out.The reason it is wrong is when I compare the output to the Balance Sheet Financial Statement report I get some differences, but I can’t see why they are different. I have realised that the report doesn’t give me balances at a month end if there are no transactions in the month. I can fix this through a Power Query custom function but sadly I am still getting some errors. My model is as follows:tables: GL.Accoun

Restriction Groups Inventory and Customer Classes

Hi, We are going to have clients log into to Acumatica. But they will need to view only their customer account in Receivables and their relevant stock and non- stock items related to the item class. Here are the screenshots for my Restriction Group Setup for Inventory Item by Item Class. Note there is only ONE company not multiple companies. Here is the user that will only have access to the TXC item class. Here is the setup to restrict access to the item class. Note nothing was done in Inventory Items since they are grouped under the Item Classes. When I log in as that user all of the inventory amounts still show. What am I doing wrong any help would be appreciated:

MRP Detail Inquiry by WO (Critical Materials but looking at entire demand)

Has anyone been able to create an inquiry that will allow you to see your expected quantity on hand by allocation date by WO? I’m essentially wanting to build a critical material but have it look at the entire demand rather than just that WO.

Create Issue from Button

Hello- I am relatively new to the Acumatica developer side. I am trying to get a button to create an inventory issue auto-populated from results in the grid that the button sits on, however, I’m being stopped in my tracks when I try to create the script to be called because I have no clue if I am calling the correct definitions or not. I am honestly just trying to copy and adapt based on the T230_Actions developer course. I have no clue if I am actually calling to an appropriate object. Modified Check does not show modified check

Yes the modified check is selected as active. what I DID: under payment methods I have selected checkThen under settings for use in AP I selected the AP641000 Check Form with Remittance. Under the AP menu I select Check Form with Remittance and click on the Edit Report and did some minor changes. Just moving fields on the check itself. I saved the report as new version check box and made sure it is actived. Then I go to Process Payments / Print Checksselect Checks, enter the account and next check number click on process and the check generated looks like the check unmodified. Are my assumptions correct, that selecting AP641000 under payment methods for Check will make the system use the latest modification under Check form with remittance (the one I selected) or am I missing something here???? Any help would be appreciated
