Adding New Filter to Physical Inventory Types

Acumatica 2020 R1; Build 20.101.0032; Screen: IN208900 We’d like to be able to create Physical Inventory Types by Manufacturer (attribute on Stock Items), or Vendor if that’s not possible. I see that we can create a Full Inventory Count, or filter by Item class, ABC code, Inventory, etc.. For example: we’d like to do a Physical Inventory of all of our Chevy Trucks one month and all of our Ford Trucks the next month.Does anyone know if we can get this granular?

Error "invalid incomplete base64 4-char block" shows for an incoming email

Attachment is zip file and size should be allowed. Email is processed into Acumatica but attachments were lost. No happen often but it did happened couple times. Thought it is POP3 issue but not sure.

Attribute control type of "link"

Hi folks,Has anyone worked out how to create links in attributes ?One example business use - customer using Projects has added an attribute to record the portal URL and username. This is because their customers often require them to provide updates via that portal.As ever I’m trying to use inbuilt Acumatica functionality without customisation as that is what my customers more readily access. I’ve added “Text” control attributes to hold the data but can’t make them into clickable links (probably just me not knowing how).If this isn’t possible, I’ll change the question into a wishlist idea, in which case having an attribute control type of “link” would need the following inputs (I suggest):-Link URI (maybe) Link URI type (web or local filesystem) * Choice of URI Launch Type of “New Window”, “New Tab”, “Frame” or “External” - if “Frame” the link could open the portal in a frame within the current Acumatica window or load an Acumatica WiKi with the frame embedded. How can customers and outsiders (outside Acumatica partners) submit product ideas?

Hi:Acumatica partners have access to the Product Idea section. Outsiders not. I understand that the product idea section is a sensitive area but, enable somehow a section in the community portal where outsiders can submit product ideas and discuss. Thanks

Customer Support

Is anyone here having horrible support on the weekends? We’ve been recently acquired and we are trying to change our calendar to match the company that bought us and we are trying to test the change by copying our data into a test company. We have left over 10 messages since 9:00PM EST last night and absolutely NO RESPONSE and it is now 8:00 AM EST. If $250 an hour gets you this support then I have to scratch my head!!!

automation schedules where does the time come from.

We are trying to create a business event that is sent out every Friday prior to everyone getting to work. We are a world wide company so the start times are all different. What time would the automation schedule use to send the reminder out? The originators time zone, branches time zone?? Thanks

Is it possible for end users to copy/paste an existing Activity to create a new one?

Is there a way for end users to copy/paste an Activity in the standard software, 2021 R1? The clipboard icon is not available on screen CR306010. Has anyone come up with a clever workaround, or are we missing something obvious?Thanks,Laura

Hello - My introduction to the group

Hello,I am Claudio Martin, I have been a JDE employee in the 90’s and then a free lance consultant for more than 20 years. I just started working with Acumatica thanks to an sponsorship opportunity provided by one of the Partners (not sure it is ok to disclose). I have 5 badges so far and working towards my Construction Consultant badge also. I live in Albuquerque, NM (USA) and thanks to my consulting career I’ve been able to travel all over and learning different cultures but, as you know...this have all changed due to the pandemic. I look forward to hearing from you and if I can answer any questions or you would like me to test something in Acumatica please let me know. I am new to the navigation but I believe best business practices and industry standards are pretty much implemented the same across most ERP software. Would you agree? My industry experience is mostly in Oil and Gas, Construction and Manufacturing, and my software experience involves Distribution and Capital Asset Man

Assign a case to the right customer when multiple customer share same email address

Question for people familiar with Cases….My understanding is that a new case coming in is assigned to a customer based on the sender email address. The business account/customer must have that email address in their record under Account Email (see below). This is of course assuming that the “Attach to Business Account...” setting is turned on in the system email account. My question is… what if there are multiple customers who share that email address? I tested this and it will assign the first instance of the email address, which may not be the correct customer. We are using Cases to create service orders, so we receive dispatch emails from vendor management systems that several of our customers use. So, the sender email is the same, but the customer might not be. Does anybody know how the system can figure out the right customer to assign the case to in this circumstance?

Editing PO User Defined fields after PO has been taken off HOLD.

Hi, just created some PO user defined fields using attributes. I would like to edit them after the PO has been approved. As soon as I take PO off of hold, the fields are no longer editable. Any advise. Hoping to avoid customizations.

Customization Project - Screen Controls Help

As many of you know, I’m one of the newest members of the Acumatica Developer community, although far from new to development for ERP systems. One of my ways of learning is to come at the problem backwards. For instance, the training guides for developers is very good at walking you through a perfect case scenario to teach, but there is a wealth of information that cannot be packed into the training guides without turning it into a new Library of Congress. By looking at code samples, I learn new methods and techniques to accomplish my goals. Sometimes, I even have to dig into the finished HTML presented to the browser… like today. I have been picking my way through properties of controls in the Screen Editor for quite some time, simply looking at what one screen sets to get similar behavior on my screen. This has been useful, but what about all those other controls? I find myself looking through properties to see what the help line tells me about each one, but I have not found a

Document Status Issue： Problem reported and A suggested solution

Hello， I am sorry, but I have to report again, in 2020R2, I met status issue again.Look below: The status of SO is obviously should be completed, because shipment had already been completed. It looks like in 2020R2, due to unknown reason, we got now and then status issue.It is not rare cases, it happens every week. And other users have also confirmed this kind of issue. It might be the new “workflow” mechanism has some issues in it. Before the developing team to find the root cause, I do believe a manually validation would help.See my idea below: That user manually trigger the system to recalculate. Like the issue I show above, the system would know the shipment has been completed and so the system can modify the so status to correct.

1Retail - Process Retail Transaction error

I’m a brand new user to Acumatica - have only been working live for about 2 months in Acumatica 2020 R2.We’re using Acumatica’s partner 1Retail to process retail sales thru our registers. After running “process retail transactions” in Acumatica, I have one error I just can’t figure out how to resolve.Retail transaction rang thru the register is: 37.10 pounds of boulders @ $ 0.45 per pound = $ 16.70$ 16.70 + 7.25% sales tax $ 1.21 = $ 17.91 total sale and cash collected from customer. Error Message says: OP Error: ARInvoice Total out of balance. CuryLineTotal: 16.6900, CuryOrigDocAmt: 17.9000, CuryTaxTotal: 1.2100, CuryFreightTotal: 0.0000 Am I supposed to override the top boxes {Base Currency Totals} or {Transaction Currency Totals} ? Change something in the line item details in bottom of the retail transaction log screen? If anyone knows of a “how to” manual regarding these errors I’d love to get my hands on one:)

Grid Auto Populate Column

Hi ,Based on the title as above, does anyone here do any auto populate column to their grid ?I wanted to auto populate based on my selection, and the column is not from the DAC view grid. Because if it’s based on current DAC view, I can auto populate it by hide/unhide the column.

What online "Live Forum” topics would you be interested in?

Calling all customers! If Acumatica hosted an online monthly “Live Forum” event what topics would you be interested in? Lets imagine we held an online event monthly for an hour, there were 4-8 virtual breakout sessions, you could join any of the live sessions, move around between sessions, and have an open discussion about the session topic. There would be a moderator in the room who had experience in the session topic, but there would not be a formal presentation (and would not be sales oriented). Opening up stock Customers screen gives error

Hello! we have been doing our work to get our badges and have the U100 data set in a testing company to work through the training with. Out of nowhere, today, we are getting an error when trying to bring up the Customers screen. we are opening it in windows explorer, we have not modified that i know of. Our other testing companies with other data work just fine. We are new to the acumatica world and so not up to speed on how to figure these issues out. If you need any further information to help deduce the issue please let me know. any help would be greatly appreciated. Activity Flow from CRM to Projects

Construction is visual whether drawings, pictures, scope of work, etc. Most of that is initiated in the beginning before the project is even created. It would be very helpful if the activities (emails, attached notes, meetings, etc.), files and notes flowed from Opportunities > Project Quote > Project > Service Management (if applicable).This way these items do not need to be attached multiple times and the end of the chain (project manager, supervisor, foreman) can review some of the correspondence to get updated on the project.This files/documents following the flow would also be helpful in attaching to subcontracts so they too have the info needed.Does anyone have a way for the supporting documents in the initial opportunity to flow with the progression to projects/field service?

Universal search of words with letters that have accents

We work in French often and some French words have accented letters. For French words with accents, we cannot use any search fields without putting the accent on the letter in our search, or else it won't work. For example, if we only type the letter "e" with no accents the search field only picks up "e's" with no accents but it would be beneficial for the search function to pick up all "e's", accent or no accent.

Why the "reminder" of event only pop up on the host user's screen?

Hello, Per our test, even if the attendee has accepted the event with reminder.The reminder did NOT pop up on the attendee’s screen at the reminder time.Only the host will see the reminder. Is it a bug? or is it designer to do so. Please advise.
