Protect/Restrict PDF Documents

Hello.I have noticed that Invoices produced from Acumatica ERP is in PDF Format which allows any person who has access to the electronic version to access and edit text.Is there not a configuration setting that allows Acumatica Clients to protect PDF documents like invoices (and Purchase Orders and Statements) to prevent anybody from editing the PDF ?

Limiting Cost Codes Available on Time Sheets to Project Specific Codes

Hi there - We want to limit available cost codes to project specific cost codes rather than providing employees with access to the master cost code listing. Currently the employee can see both the master cost code listing as well as project specific codes. We want to remove the option that allows the employee to select from master cost codes. Is this option available?

Push Notification on Older Devices in App didnt Work

Hello, we have the problem that we have set push notifications and on an iPhone 13 the notification arrives. But on an iPhone 7 with IOS 5.8 there is no notification. The Haufe X360 app has the same version on both devices.

Mobile App > Users that have "Force User to Change Password on Next Login" checked are unable to change password or login

Our standard protocol for new users has been setting a default password but required the ‘Force User to Change Password on Next Login’ checkbox under each user profile. The issue I’m discovering is that the mobile app does not like that. It will say invalid credentials instead of popping up some type of interface allowing them to set the password. This is troublesome as users then have to use a web browser for the first login, set password, then can begin using the mobile app. Has anyone else discovered this?

CreateDateTime for converted Customers

The BAccount CreateDateTime field does not provide the date in which a business account is extended as a customer.I am trying to create a Dashboard that displays number of new customers created by month. If they are being created from a prospect business account I don’t know how to pull a time stamp at which this happens. Can anyone help?

Restricting who gets pop up notes

When you create a note on a stock item you are able to select ‘Add pop up note’ so that every time that part is added to a sales order, appointment, PO etc it pops up and then the user must click ok for the pop up to go away.This is great for our procurement team and sales team, however a nightmare for our service team. Are we able to restrict who gets these pop up notes or which modules they appear in?

How to Enable Spanish Package

We have purchased a Spanish Language Package to provide an additional language option for our Spanish-speaking users. Could someone please guide us through the process of enabling it? Our partner has initiated a case with Acumatica, but unfortunately, they haven't been able to provide clear instructions on adding the additional language. Implementation Activities Login

Just wondering if I’m missing something here. In all of the help topics, it says to login with a mock username and password to test the implementation activity- but when I try to do that, I get an invalid login message. I want to be able to explore and kind of play around with the things I don’t have permissions to in our actual company acumatica- so I can see what processes we’re not using that could be helpful to us. It seems like the help topics are giving a login for exactly that reason, to go around and explore things and practice without actually changing things in the companies system set up. Am I wrong in this, or am I just missing a step in the process?For context- I’m a newish admin assistant and from what I have explored in the acumatica help topics, we are severely under utilizing the ERP. I want to be able to go in and explore things I don’t have access to in our currently set-up system, without messing up any of our settings. I was hoping to be able to access whatever log

Best practice for upgrading Customizations in an extension Library (DAC cast issues post upgrade)

Hi,Just looking for some advice on what steps need to be undertaken for the upgrade process when there are customizations using extension libraries. We always have issues on the live site post upgrade so obviously we are not doing something correctly. This is our process:We get a sandbox environment and take a snap shot, Next create a local instance of the new build, import the snapshot, and test the code compiles. This is done by the developer (ie. me) and as long as the code compiles and publishes locally I don’t do anything else We get our users to do some testing in the sandbox. This is fairly undirected and probably too light (meaning there are problems on the sandbox that don’t get identified pre upgrade) Assuming that no issues are picked up in the above we wait for the upgrade to occur Post upgrade we republish the customizations. On the new live site all customizations appear as unpublished.That’s our process. Post upgrade, things typically do not go well on the Live s

Reprocess Failed Business Events

I have a business event calling an import scenario (Issuing out the goods on a PO). The event frequently says the Lot/Serial number can’t be found. If I go into the History, I can see the failed event, hit reprocess and it works.So... Is there a way to get this event to try and reprocess on it’s own? Maybe like breathe for 5 minutes, then retry any failed events?I’m assuming this is either a failure on Updating IN in a timely manner or my import scenario sucks and it’s probably my import. hoping for the easy method of forcing the B/E to reprocess though, since that seems to go without issue.

How to disable action trigger (all)

Hi there,I created business events that sends out an email via an action trigger. The only thing is that there is an (all) option when you create an action trigger. Well I don’t want anyone to accidentally select the (all) option and send an email message to every ticket in the screen.How would I go about either disabling the use of the (all) option or having it not even appear as an option?I tried using the automation steps screen to disable the action but it still appears as an action you can use.I assume there’s an easy way of doing this but can’t seem to find anything on the web.Any help would be appreciated :)

Can a template for Cases be created that includes a set of predefined tasks

I’ve created templates in Cases, but the tasks associated with the cases are not copied over -- same with copying a case. I want to create an internal case called New Hire. A user chooses that template and the predefined tasks that need to be completed are automatically created as well.Does something like this exist or can it be done with an import scenario?

Bringing forward attributes from lead class to opportunity class

Hi! We’re currently revamping how we use Acumatica for our own internal CRM. We’re exploring the option of using attributes for lead classes to capture as much data as possible on a prospect such as their industry, requirements etc. This is all good information as the prospect moves along from lead to opportunity. However, when we convert the lead to an opportunity, the attributes despite being the same, do not get carried over and the data is lost/needs to be reentered. Is there any way that we can ensure the data from the lead stage gets brought forth into the future stages like opportunities and business accounts? Thanks!

Restrictions on the views of screens so that when you are in one company you only see that Companies data

This is not so much a restriction requirement but more of a design requirement.When you have multiple companies in one tenant and you have access to all of them it would be great if the only data that you see on the screen pertains to the company that you have selected at the top.Now, you see transactions, customers, vendors for all companies irrespective of the selected company. It does lead to mistakes and it does not demo well. Thanks

Mail template with joined report : dynamic date parameters

Hi, I’m want to send an e-mail with a joined report.This report accepts 2 date parameters, with default values (DateFrom & DateTo) : With a scheduled event, i trigger every month the email sending.On the joined report settings, i have to specify his parameters values In my case in want to have :DateFrom : the start of the next monthDateTo : the end of the next monthI didn’t find the right syntax for this. I also tried to not specify those parameters, but the default values of the report are not applied. Any help would be great.Thanks

Is it possible to suppress closed projects from drop down list?

The client wants to enter time entries spent on Projects from a Mobile phone. Is it possible not to have the closed projects to show as you cannot see if a project is still open from the drop down on the mobile phone

User Issue with Help Links inside Acumatica: Blank Screen when trying to Open a Link

Good day,I have one users (at least one that has complained) has issue with Help Links. The user can open the help menu but when they select the hyperlink nothing happens; they can a blank page.I have no issue with access the hyperlinks. Is there security issue? How Can I Grant Access to Users to Select a Custom Week on Their Time Card?

As an admin, I have the ability to select the week when creating a time card. But other access roles cannot select the week, it is grayed out. I have already created my custom weeks in the Time and Expenses Preferences, I just need employees to be able to select their weeks in each time card they create. Any help would be appreciated!

Business Event and Email Template

Hello,I have a scenario where I have a user defined field on the Vendor form to store an email address. What I would like to do is for an AP Bill and Adjustment that is rejected (not approved) I would like to send an email to 1 of 2 possible email addresses that may change based on the vendor being used. Is it possible to pull the user defined field (the email address) from the Vendor form using a combination of a business event and an email template? The email would also return details like the document that was rejected, who rejected it, etc. Thanks.Mike
