Slower page loading using Google Chrome 92

Hello Community,I have a customer running Acumatica ERP 2020R1.A user signs on to Acumatica ERP and goes to Bill&Adjustments. When the user selects a bill (open/balanced/hold) the page takes too much time to complete to the point that if the user clicks on any of the fields , the system throws a message box informing that: “Page Unresponsive - you can wait for it to become responsive or exit the page.” The page loading time is not that much if it happened one on a while but as the user gets this delay on every document then the wait causes some work delays and frustration.On the other hand, if the user performs the same tasks (under the same conditions) but now using Edge, the page load time is definitely faster and more acceptable. The user runs Goggle Chrome 92.0.4515.131 Has anyone experienced a similar problem? Would anyone know if this issue is somehow related to Google Chrome settings ? Could extensions be interfering? Any inputs are appreciated.

Update custom filed on a closed invoice.

Hi folks, Hope you are doing well. During using Acumatica ERP, recently we have such a quest about updating a closed invoice.The details will be:Create a custom db field on invoice screen AR300010. Add it to UI. Closed the invoice. Update value on this field.Looks once an invoice is closed, all the fields get locked down.We wonder that is there a way to make that particular field editable even on a closed invoice? Best regards. The DB is MySQL 8.0 and hosted on AWS RDS.When we try to setup a new instance, it is throwing below error.I have checked server variable “log_bin_trust_function_creators” and it is ON.Can someone please help me out to resolve the issue?Appreciated,HarishD

Personalizing email without using an app password

First off, I’m new to Accumatica and this might be a stupid question, but I can’t find a definitive answer in the documentation, and our integration partner isn’t being super responsive. We have a new implementation of Accumatica with a single tenant and we use Google for mail. We are looking at implementing Google SSO for authentication to Accumatica, as well as implementing 2FA through Google. Email within Accumatica is presently not set up to allow users to send from themselves, but we would like to implement this. I’ve read that in order to turn on mail personalization when 2FA is enabled, you have to use an App Password, but we’d prefer not to. In looking for alternatives to using App Passwords, it occurred to me that that the key generated by Google when SSO is first set up could maybe take the place of the App Password? Did that make any sense at all?

import snapshot into test environment

We are wanting to upgrade from 2020 R2 to 2021 R1. We are on premise so we need to move the a snapshot to a test environment. We have been on acumatica for just over a year and our snapshot is already to large to import with the default settings. We have adjusted the webconfig to allow for our snapshot size of 1.5 Gb (we are just over the limit with our snahot being 1.1Gb).We now get the error “Error: The file is not found, or you don't have enough rights to see the file” I have tried importing from the server directly with the snapshot right in the c drive. I have tried creating other snapshots, thinking the first one was corrupt.We do have custom fields created and need a way to bring the snapshot over for proper testing. What would the official way of doing this be?

How can I enable manual project numbering?

Can someone say what I am doing wrong? Or what else needs to be done to enable manual project numbering?All that is said in the documentation - you need to enable the checkbox - manual numbering, but this does not work. Acumatika does not allow creating a project with a custom identifier for me( I enter my ID when creating the project, but as soon as I go to another field my ID is deleted

Reverting Instance Back to Original State

We have created a Sandbox instance with tenant, companies, calendar and financial periods configured and to ensure safety we take snapshots periodically to rollback changes if a mistake is made while configuring the system.Is there any method to revert the instance back to the original state, that is the system when you first create an instance? (no configurations)

Device hub setup

I am trying to setup Device hub on our server, but am getting a permissions error with theconnection to ERP...[Error] There was an error opening the connection: StatusCode: 403, ReasonPhrase: 'Forbidden', Version: 1.1, Content: System.Net.Http.StreamContent, Headers: So this results in Acumatica (MYOB Advanced in Australia) not seeing the printers that are setup in DeviceHub, but if I add the printers manually in the ERP then the DeviceHub recognizes them as setup… but still nothing is found in Acumatica.

Global search the customer location

Is there a way to add the customer location into the global search. As a field service company, the only thing we care about is the customer location because that is what all of our work is attached to. Currently the global search doesn’t search for anything having to do with the customer location.

Multiple Tenants having Separate Databases

Is there any possibility to have one instance (one URL) that has two different tenants which have separate databases.Requirements include,1) Ability of having different databases for different tenants2) We have created one sandbox with two tenants. In this license we can have 100 concurrent users. We need to create an additional instance in this same sandbox environment for development work.Attached below is the structure of the configured sandbox, If there are any workarounds to this issue, or if you could give an explanation on how data is kept separate and identified in two different tenants that would be greatly appreciated.

Alexa business skill not working

I've setup the Acumatica business skill for Alexa and connected it to the 2021R1 instance of Acumatica with the Alexa customization package. When I tell Alexa to "Open Acumatica" and it asks for the authorization code (which I provide), it seems to not recognize the code. I’ve tried resetting the authorization code a number of times but it never works. Anyone know how to resolve this?

Error while creating .cscsfg file thats required to deploy Acumatica (Acumatica ERP 2020R2) in Azure.

While we attempt to create .cscfg file using Acumatica installation wizard running in local PC with database as AzureSQL, we came across with this error - “A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server.(provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.)”We are able to connect to AzureSQL database from installation wizard and the database creation is halfway thru, but then we face the above error and installation eventually stops with message “Batch Ended”.We are in touch with Azure support regarding this issue and they are investigating, In the mean time it is highly appreciated, if we can get any pointer to the root cause or possible cause of this issue.

Jquery out of date on the login page causing medium vulnerability found on PCI Scan

We scan our public IP quarterly to verify security settings and we found this on a sandbox version of Acumatica used for dev/testing internally. Anyone else getting this. Is this something we can fix or does Acumatica need to update some dependencies. Convert from NetSuite

I am wondering if there are any tools that are available to convert data from NetSuite and bringing the data into Acumatica. Let me know if you have any tools. I haven’t had the ability yet to see what NetSuite has as far as export utilities. Any help in pointing me in the right direction so I don’t have to recreate the wheel will be helpful.

Some Features/Module missing

Hello Everyone, Would there be a reason why some of the features/module is missing in my installation of Acumatica? Has this got to do with licensing etc.? I am using 2020R1 and when I compare this to the SalesDemo data of the same version, the features/module are there but not on my installed Acumatica. Please help! Thank you. Kind regards,mrivera67

Non-Project Code functionality breaks when 'validating segments' of the Project ID

Hello,We are new install and working through our implementation. Have come across an issue that I’m hoping folks on this forum may be able to help with.As soon as we setup Segmented Key for our Project ID, and had 3 of the 4 segments turned on for validation (ie… only certain values can be used in that segment); now our ‘Non-Project’ code we setup in preferences no longer works?Is this a product defect/bug?As soon as I turn the validation off in the segmented keys, the non-project functionality works again. I realize that I can make a ‘dummy’ project that follows the segmented values setup, but that kind of defeats the purpose of this functionality to begin with.Anyone else run into this issue? Perhaps there is a hot fix to address this? Thanks, Lars
