We have just upgraded from 2019R2 to 2023R1. In 2019R2 I was previously able to change the template ID of an existing and assigned stock item if I had the “Edit Template ID” checkbox enabled in the item class. Today I went to do that and the Template ID is greyed out and unable to be edited. Is this a bug or new behavior? Is there anyway around this without making a customization to reenable this field?
