Are you trying to mass clear them?
If trying to mass clear, you can go to process orders and Action> Cancel Order then sort by order status of Back Order

The below Attached gives the details of backorder lines with order qty and Inventory ID.
Please update the qty as zero using import scenario and mark as completed with another import scenario.
Or else try to Update the completed checkbox and verify the results usings import scenarios.
