May I know, when user submit the ECR and the status change to pending approve, what is the ECR approval conditions formula we have to set from approval Maps?

Hello @pandachan48 ,

Do you want to approve every Engineering Change?  If the answer is Yes, then Conditions may be left blank, empty.  If every Engineering Request requires approval, the only step is to complete Rule Actions.  Rule Actions tab tells Acumatica to where (to what employees) will the Engineering request be routed.

If some Engineering requests require approval and some do not, then the Conditions tab tells Acumatica the criteria for when approval is required. In the following example:

  • Line one shows how to make approval required only when Owner of Change Request = Employee  3209 (employee is a Junior Consultant).
  • Line two shows how to make approval required only when Bill of Material ID begins with ‘AA’.
  • If both condition lines are used, then approval will be required when Owner = employee, 3209 AND the Bill of Material starts with ‘AA’.
