Hi @DPaniagua  You can not delete a Stock item if there are transactions put against that item. 

Do you mean that you want to change the itemID to reflect that all items of that itemID are samples?

or

Do you want to remove one piece of inventory from stock and write it off as a sample?

If you mean the latter, just use an issue transaction.  It would be nice to have a reason code set up for “samples”.

@DPaniagua you’ll want to use the Adjustments screen to decrease the inventory from stock with the appropriate Reason Code.

@DPaniagua another option if wish to maintain the item in inventory …. if you are using warehouse locations you can transfer the item to a ‘sample’ location with properties that do not allow sales 

With properties that do not allow to sell... could you elaborate a little more.

Each location on the warehouse location table can have their own properties, one on which is Sales allowed, see below
