How do you clean a database of all previous customizations?

I have a very complex development database for testing a customization. In order to test my customization, I need multiple tenants with specific settings, logins etc. It takes hours to get a new instance setup completely to test.When I unpublish a customization and delete it, it appears there is still “junk” in the database that is keeping information which is causing problems.Example: I unpublish, delete the project, create a new one and whe I go to add a custom page. The title doesn’t show up. Or, it shows the previous screens which were deleted. I have to create a new screen ID (such as IC.10.10.01) in order for it to show the Title. I cannot find any way to add the title to this screen. Also, I can tell the database is got “junk” in it because it still shows previous site map items and screens. These two screens are not in my project or in the web site but they show up in the lookup screen:Note, I am working with a completely clean installation of the web site. The site it

Have a form pop-up in a new window

This is for 2020 R2I am trying to have the base Shipment Confirmation form (so642000) pop-up in a new window or Tab when printined from the Shipments form SO302000 Currently, when you select the Reports > Print Shipment Confirmation the Shipment Confirmation opens in the current window. I can add a new form & set it to open in a new tab or Pop-Up but need some guidance on the existing form. Thank you!

Override Private Method

Hello all,Is it possible to override a private method of a graph? There have been several times where I have would have liked to, but I lack the rights to such methods from extensions since they are technically different objects as the base graph. Does anyone have a work around for this?It’s frustrating seeing the exact line of code I need to change to do a simple customization but lacking access to it to make the change. Instead I end up writing an inefficient workaround using event handlers.Edit: For example, right now I’d like to override OpportunityMaint.FillDefaultBAccountID(), but I can’t using the standard PXOverride attribute & delegate since it’s private.

Can the "Expiration Date" on PO receipt Line be enabled without lot tracking?

Hello, we’d like to note down some item’s expiration data, and that is optional.And we don’t like to enforce the lot tracking. Just like to note down some information.On customization screen, I did not find a way to enable it. I know how to add a customized field at line level. However, can I ask if it is possible or allowed that I simpily make the “expiration date” field enable? is there a way to do it? Becausing the customized filed would have the same business meaning with the original “expiration date” field, so I don’t want to add duplicated field unless it is a must.

Display message in event handler

Dear community, I would like to show a message to the user from an event handler. In my case it is Events.RowInserted.I tried throw new PXException and PXSetPropertyException. Both are logged to the Trace but nothing pops up in the browser. Any help is welcome.

How to tell order line is created by "create transfer order"(SO509000) screen in coding?

Discard Changes and Close does not clear the cache with Generic Inquiry

I have a Generic Inquiry screen showing batches to post. When I select a batch it brings up my form. If I make any changes to the form and click Cancel button, I get a warning that my changes will be lost. If I click to continue, the changes are undone. That works perfectly.However, if I click Discard Changes and Close, I get a prompt that I will lose my changes. I click ok to continue and it takes me back to the Generic Inquiry screen. When I select that batch again, the form still reflects any changes I made to the Grid. The Description field is in the form section and it DOES NOT get saved when I reselect the batch to edit.At this point, if I refresh the browser, it redisplays everything as unchanged (good).This is what it looks like before I change anything:If I untick the Errors to clear them, I am updating the details records to clear the errors on the line protected void _(Events.FieldUpdated<ICSPending, ICSPending.hasErrors> e) { ICSPending

PXProcessing result screen is messed up

I have a processing screen that works perfectly. After processing, all data is updated correctly and the screen looks and functions exactly as it should.However, when the processing is complete, the results window is screwed up.When I click POST ALL, the code posts any entries that are unposted (based on the drop down filter) and does not post entries with a batch error. WORKS GREAT!When the processing delegate fires, if the batch has errors, I throw an exception on that recordPXProcessing<ICSPendingHDR>.SetError(entriesToProcess.IndexOf(entry), e);On the web site, the processing screen temporarily shows an item in the ERROR box which is what I expect: Then, when both records have been processed, the results changes to 2 process successfully When I click the 2 Processed button, I get results that are messed up. Unable to publish from customization project editor

We have a development environment that has many instances of Acumatica installed and in the past week or two publishing from the customization project editor no longer works. The log window at the bottom opens and nothing is logged. There is a warning in the windows application log for ASP.NET.4.0.30319.0. I have included the details at the bottom. This is happening for all 20+ versions of Acumatica installed in any application pool. Unable to create Shipment by code - Acumatica

business event - not recognizing a customer location that does exist

I’m a business event noob…. I feel like this is 99% complete and someone from this community could get this over the goal line. See screenshots below. I created a custom GI to list project records. The business event is supposed to create a new service order via import scenario when a new project has been created. The business event doesn’t process because “location can’t be found in the system”, however that location does in fact exist. Does anybody know what I’m missing or doing wrong?

Unable to select value, it is disappearing

How to set an unbound selector to another value from the same table

I have a table that holds a text value of the GL account code from an import. Generic Inquiries in Customization Project and Screen IDs

What are some of the best practices regarding packing of generic inquiries in customization projects? Acumatica defaults the screen ID to GI.00.XX.XX, and if you try to publish a project with conflicting screen IDs it fails. I know we can change the screen ID ourselves, but I’ve seen issues in the past where this would completely break the automatic numbering when a user tries to add a new generic inquiry to the site map.

How to determine all ship lines have been deleted from coding's perspective?

Hello, we have a little customization that to count each ship line’s qty according to the item’s temperature zone(which is also a customization field, but it does not matter here). It would be almost perfect, however it is having a little issue. If someone clear/delete all ship lines and save, the “totaldryunits” would not be set to 0. I read the code lines, it looks like foreach (SOShipLine line in Base.Transactions.Select()) this line would not be triggered, if all ship lines were cleared. I am not good at coding , can anyone help me how to trigger the total reset?

User filters are lost after publishing customization

Recently I’ve noticed an issue that after I publish customization projects our users report that their saved filters are lost. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue?

New row button on grid not working

I have a simple table and a grid to add records to it. The Account Mapping grid works. But on the Branch Mapping grid, when I click the “PLUS” icon, the icon goes grey and no new row is available on the grid.Before clicking PLUS This is what is looks like after clicking the PLUS icon: The table is very simple. We have a requirement to scan multiple vendor lot nbr for scan lot nbr.we have design screen like this we have used scan material and we are able to successfully scan on the master grid and we are not able to scan data on the child grid. what is the best possible way to achieve this??
