AI and especially ChatGPT have been the number one topic of conversation for months.
Have you already used ChatGPT with Acumatica in any way?
For edge users, I have included BingChat as a SidePanel for a faster lead qualification (https://www.bing.com/search?form=MY02AE&OCID=MY02AE&pl=launch&q=AcctCD&showconv=1&showconv=1 inserted as a link).
But this is also only a small possibility and unfortunately without automatic data transfer. Have you already found possibilities for this?

Thank you for posting this. Is the search term the contact name? Or the account name?
Hi @dougmcbride79, In the chat everything is manual. If you switch to the search on Bing, come directly all the posts of the AcctCD / account name. The parameter can be adjusted in the stored link of the side panel.
Hi @RaphaelPfaff12 ,
Currently we don’t have any integration/functionality with ChatGPT.
Thanks!

Hi @NuwanTharanga62
Are there plans to add ChatGPT to Acumatica?
@RaphaelPfaff12 - Thanks for sharing the BingChat in side panel!
Currently, there are several ML powered capabilities that we have prioritized on our 3 year roadmap, but ChatGPT is not one of them yet. Not that this is completely set in stone, any shifts in demands from our customer base can directly affect the roadmap ;)
Cheers,
Jin
@RaphaelPfaff12 while we don’t have an integration to Chat GPT, with the latest enhanced privacy options that lets you set your chats to private, I have seen users feed it data to help perform modeling or synthesizing information. It’s still a bit manual, as you can imagine.
Another area I have seen being used was to help build out parts of code. Since we have an open API, Chat GPT was able to provide code for validating and testing based on a prompt created by the user to help build customizations.
There is potential here and we are investigating this space as well as our customers’ demand.
However, for the lead qualification example you provided there - we considered something like an integration to Zoominfo (SalesOS / MarketingOS). The vision was to use their large database to help complete any missing information for accounts/contacts/leads/opportunities/etc in Acumatica records. Zoominfo is working on integrating to Chat GPT as their move to generative AI (preview video here) so that could be leveraged there while an integration to Acumatica would help enrich the data stored in the ERP.
Hi @Jin Kim and @Omar Ghazi ,
fyi- in the support area I implemented ChatGPT like this: - A chat is made available on a website via the OpenAI API. - I have embedded this page as a dashboard in Acumatica. - The dashboard is displayed via side panel in the entry screen - If the supporter needs help, he can ask in the chat and copy the answer into the ticket activity
A good option to use the tool with Acumatica in everyday life without much effort as a user
I saw this article the other day that is a good thing to keep in mind when going down this road

Thanks @RaphaelPfaff12 , last one thing, i embeded to https://chat.openai.com/ link. but login/signup must needed?
Hi @prabhu83 I have connected a provider who makes the OpenAI API publicly available and thus no login is required. Similarly, you can embed your own OpenAI API in a WordPress plugin on a page. Then you can embed the WordPress page in the dashboard.

Hi @prabhu83 for wordpress you can find a lot of videos on youtube
Hi everyone! There are two public ChatGPT plugins available for people with the paid subscription.
First is the Acumatica ERP - Knowledge Assistant. It was created by Pavlo Tsyhanok, one of the external Acumatica developers. Here is the link to the plugin:
And here are my requests to it for some demonstration:
And the second plugin is called Acumatica Guide. Unfortunately, I don’t know the author since Chat GPT provides little info on the plugin authors. Here is the link to the plugin: https://chat.openai.com/g/g-5lJzTdkKJ-acumatica-guide
Here are my requests:
I just published a Podcast episode with Yuriy about his company’s ChatGPT integration that’s been officially certified by Acumatica:
What specific tasks or processes within Acumatica can benefit from the use of ChatGPT?
Hi @Kathlyn, I have heard a positive opinion about Chat GPT integration usage for the onboarding of new employees. It allows people to start working with Acumatica more quickly. Chat GPT can answer simple questions without a need to disturb experienced employees or Acumatica support.
Although sometimes the answer may include some false information (so-called “AI illusions”). Everything answered by Chat GPT should be taken with some doubt and checked manually. Still, it can help people to find out how to do some action in the system, and such answers can be checked easily,
The amount of AI hallucinations depends on the quality of the Chat GPT integration. Some integrations are faster but with more hallucinations, some are slower but more reliable.
@RaphaelPfaff12@Kandy Beatty
we implemented ChatGPT to directly interact with your data from acumatica. You can ask question related to a GI in our chatbot and get an answer for that question. It’s based on ChatGPT but can directly interact with your data.
If that’s interesting for someone we can schedule a call and look into the solution. It’s kind of MVP right now but functional for demo purposes.
Good day, Acumatica community!
Our AcuPower team has created a chat GPT integration with Acumatica, and it got certified.
If you are interested in a custom demonstration with your data being analyzed by chat GPT in Acumatica, book a time slot on Yuriy Zaletskyy’s calendar: https://meetings-eu1.hubspot.com/yuriy-zaletskyy
