Defaulting UDF Values from Business Account to Case

We have a number of user-defined fields on our Cases screen that also reside on our Business Accounts screen. When a new case is created, we want those Case UDF’s to default to the UDF value set on the Business Account.

What’s the best way to accomplish this? Code? Workflow customization? Business Event?

Hi @bcameron 

To ensure it happens and defaults, the best way to force it would be code. You would need a customization. A business event would not force a change, it would only notify of a change.
