Changing Codes on the app?

My project managers cannot change coding for bills on the acumatica application - is this normal?

@sagar07 our AP team does a great job coding the bills however there are many circumstances where the project needs to be changed or the code depending on details the PM knows that we are unaware of.  

 

On the app, everything is greyed out - we can only approve or reject.  We cannot put it on hold, change the project or the coding like we can on the desktop version.

It greys out when it is awaiting approval and if the PM does not have those rights, they will not be able to change anything.

@Kandy Beatty  Ok so essentially it is not possible to change cost codes for approval on the app? If it’s not awaiting approval, it won’t show up in their approvals.  If it’s awaiting approval, they can’t change the code.

@Kandy Beatty yes. Essentially our ap person takes it off hold and once that happens it gets routed to the PM per our settings on the approval map. We get many bills so we’re trying to make it easier for the PMs to approve so we suggested the mobile app. However they need the flexibility to be able to change codes if need be

Can they put the bill back on hold to change the codes? Have you tried that?

@Kandy Beatty doesnt appear doable from The mobile app because that would work. Doable on the desktop because that’s what they do.
