Attaching PDF file into custom report

Hello there,

We are developing custom report using 21 R2 release, and the requirement is to print a PDF attachment after printing the custom report.

The PDF is attached as a file attachment either under STOCK ITEM or KIT Assembly.

Any idea or any one has done this kind.

I don’t believe that it’s currently possible to do exactly this, but there are some possible workarounds as well as a link to the Idea that you can vote on here:

@wrajendran23 As @lauraj46 mentioned these is no out of the box functionality for this but it could be added via a customization.

If the PDF is static then it could potentially be added to the description on the Inventory Item and then this description is called into the report on a blank page it could display an image of the PDF?

Might be a bit of a wonky workaround but I would definitely vote on the idea mentioned.

yes, we understood that there is no out of the box solution, but found out that the Hyperlink into reports will help as a work around solution.

Moreover its not a static document attached to the stock item. Its about Kit assembly PDF diagrams. thanks
