Is it possible to configure Acumatica lot/serial classes to track both lot and serial number on an item? 

You could look on GitHub for a customization which allows extending lot/serial w/ attributes.  That might get you closer.

Thanks! yea we are aware of the ability to track either or, but were looking into tracking both if thats even possible. appreciate the insight though!

Currently it is only one or the other:

The tracking method for the inventory lot/serial class. Select one of the following options:

  • Not Tracked: No tracking of the lot or serial numbers will be performed for items of the class.
  • Track Lot Numbers: Tracking of the lot numbers will be performed for items of the inventory lot/serial class.
  • Track Serial Numbers: Tracking of the serial numbers will be performed for items of the inventory lot/serial class.

It appears we can choose Lot Numbering or Serial Numbering, not BOTH Lot and Serial Numbering:

In Lot-Serial Classes screen, we select Lot OR Serial
