Does anyone know how to capture production losses for financial purposes in the manufacturing module?

now we found that kit assembly production loss cannot record, 

In finance side, production loss cannot count into production cost

how to record the production loss in the manufacturing module. (raw materials loss during the production)

Is there any setup/configuration we need to do configure to capture the production loss cost?
