A user is trying to “ACTIVATE UPGRADE” for a customer contract and is getting the error “Nullable object must have a value.”   Looking through the trace it doesn’t appear it’s caused by any customizations.  Has anyone else seen this error in the customer contract area?   We’re using 2022 R1.

We tested that but it didn’t correct the issue.   We found the problem because we had an unnecessary entry under Contract Usage.  Deleted the line and the user was able to activate the upgrade.   Thank you for your help!

thank you for sharing the fix!

HI @suebrown

  1. Have they changed numbering sequences for contracts?
  2. What is the Activation date being used?

Hi @suebrown

Is that financial period closed by chance?

It is closed.  We will reopen it and see if it goes through.  Thank you!

Hi Kandy -- it’s SaaS.

No, numbering sequences haven’t changed and the activation date is 2/24/2023.
