Question

Contact to be a part of Multiple Business Accounts

Hi,

Is there a way to tie the same contact to multiple business accounts? Currently I have to create a new contact for each business account and it does not allow you to search other contacts and add them. This creates duplication for contacts.

Example: Contact A, can exist under Business Account 1, BA 2, and BA 3.

Regards

Amrit

Hi @ggill did you receive an answer to this? I have a client that has the same need and can’t seem to find the solution.

This is imperfect, but I’ve worked around that using the Relations tab on the Business Account.  Set the Role to Related Entity, the Type to Contact, and you should be able to pull in contacts from other BA’s.

@Andy Smith Thanks Andy, but as you said it’s imperfect and this wouldn’t solve the issue in my case. We need to tie the contact back to cases, and this would not allow you to pick the correct business account.
