Hi, WMS currently supports 1-step Transfers.
We are looking at adding support for receiving 2-step transfers via WMS. Please ‘upvote’ the Community Idea posting for this: Ability to Receive 2-step Transfer on the mobile App | Community (acumatica.com). And also please share how your organization currently uses 2-step Transfers, and how you would want to process them on WMS mobile devices.
Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Thanks for your reply. "upvote" completed from my end.
Users use the Two-Step transfer option and manually acknowledge receipts using inventory receipts because mobile apps lack the Two-Step capability.
My recommendations, Web Application will be used to create the initial transfer order. When a transfer order is created, a transfer number is generated. The process can start with the user scanning the Transfer Order Number or Receipt Number, proceed with scanning the inventory id, adjust the quantity, and then release the document. Please do not hesitate if you have any questions.
Thanks
Ram

Spent a little time today trying to solve this for a client.
As discussed, Scan and Transfer between warehouses will work if the Warehouses are both connected to the same Building (On Warehouse screen (IN204000), under the Address Tab). This will unfortunately only create a 1-Step transfer, even if you set “2-Step” as the default in a customization.
I solved this by creating a Business Event that will review any Transfers of a 1-Step with different warehouses for SiteID vs ToSideID and then update after a save, to a 2-Step. This occurs quickly enough that by the time the user clicks Release, it has already been updated.
The next issue is there is currently no Scan and Receive Transfers function. I created a custom Mobile App screen to access “Transfer Receipts” (Receipts screen IN301000). The user can select the Transfer, review / update the stock item quantities and receipt locations before saving and releasing the “Transfer Receipt”.
This is a very basic setup, so feel free to improve on. I have attached them for your use.
Thank you for sharing your solution with the community @jeffbeck10!
