Customer uses their own trucks to deliver large shipments of construction materials to a job site. They are seeking a solution to collect a signature on BOL at the delivery, print and write back to the ACM shipment.
Any thought of suggestions for a solution ?
we have a solution integrated with Acumatica where the a tablet is downloaded from Acumatica with the Invoice (BOL), the driver delivers and the receiver signs the tablet as Proof of Delivery. The resultant signed invoice (BOL) is transmitted back to Acumatica with whatever changes there may be. the POD system is a third party product custom designed for our purposes but I am sure with little effort can be adapted to your needs. Additional features include being able to push changes.
We have the same needs, we’re looking for a solution our drivers to capture E-signature, but since we ship a lot of small items, occasionally there are some discrepancies between what’s on the BOL and what the driver is actually delivering, we’re looking for a solution the driver should be able to mark these discrepancies on the BOL per item line, but I don’t want these changes from the driver to change the shipment document in Acumatica they should rather go to a manager for review and approval and then we’ll make the changes accordingly.
Any solution this can be accomplished?
You should look at customer signature feature available in Mobile application for service appointments. If the same feature can be extended to BOL signature by product team as an enhancement.
WorkWave has a solution to sign for deliveries and have it attached to the Shipment record.
