assignment a workgroup automatically based on SO type

Hi, 

Does anyone know a way to auto assign a Workgroup on the SO based on SO type? Right now, we have to manually enter the workgroup when entering that SO type order.

Hello @mna10 

You can create a Business event and updated the workgroup Id Once the sales order is created based on the order type.

  1. Option 1: Create a BE based on order type it will update the work group.( Attached simple e-Business events for QT order type
  2. Option 2: Mass Updates of workgroup from SO Generic inquiry.https://asiablog.acumatica.com/2016/09/mass-processing-using-gi.html
