Is it possible to consolidate change orders? I had 15 change orders approved as one lump change order that needs to show up on my pay app as one - not 15.  is that possible if they are already listed in acumatica?

Hello @katiedavison ,

I don’t think there is a way to combine/consolidate Project Change Orders, without customization.

For the 15 CO’s already approved, you might use Export to Excel and Import from File buttons to merge the Revenue Budget, Cost Budget, and Commitment lines onto one Change Order and cancel the remaining orders.

in the future you may elect to use Change Requests. When Change Requests have been approved by the customer, Requests may be combined into one Change Order.

Multiple Requests may be added to one Change Order.

I do not see your idea, ability to combine Project Change Orders, in the Ideas section of this community. Please consider adding it, so we may vote. Thank you!

I have one more thought:  Depending on how your Project Tasks are structured, you may be able to show a Change Order as its own separate Task, and use the same Task on all 15 of your Change Orders.

I worked with a construction client once, whose procedure was to add a new Change Order task tot he project to represent each new change order… leaving the budget for all original tasks unchanged and attributing all Change Order Revenue and Costs to one new CO Task.

The regular project tasks were numeric, while Change Order Tasks were numbered like CO 001, CO 002 etc. so they sorted to the bottom of the Pay App.
