I’ve set field-level security to hide average and last cost on the stock item screen from certain roles.
If there is a GI that shows average or last cost and the user with the certain restricted role has access to that GI, can they still see the average or last cost?
I am presuming the answer is yes. Just want to confirm as I’ve not been able to find info on this.

I recommend that you go to the Users screen and Log In As one of the users with restricted rights to see Inventory Costs. Then open up a screen that shows Inventory Cost, such as Inventory Transactions by Account in Inventory → Inquiries. Can you see the Costs when logged in as the restricted user?
You may then consider adjusting field-level access to the Unit Cost field of Inventory Transactions by Account GI, and other screens that reveal too many details to the restricted Role.
