Hey everyone, we have a customer that’s implementing and they would like to add, for example, the first letters of the first name and 1st letter of the last name, followed by an auto-generated number (this part I know). Would that involve some sort of customization or can that be done natively? If so, how?

Hello, it is possible to have a two segment customer Id , with first segment of 4 characters manually entered by user to represent first 3 digits of first name and first digit of last name followed by second segment auto-numbered.
Remember, customer id is a child of and shares segmentation with BAccount. Therefore several entities will share the same segmentation: customer id , vendor id, branch/company, employee.
