You may Deactivate future periods in Finance → Manage Fiscal Periods screen.

Thank you. That seems to have worked. It only let me go through year 2028 in the From and To boxes. It said 2029 is not found although I know I already had an AP Bill posted to April 2029 by mistake. But, when I tried to enter another AP Bill into 2029, it did give an error message saying that period is inactive.

It’s possible that years beyond 2028 exist but have not yet been activated/opened. To see which Years exist, go to Finance → Company Financial Calendar and look up on the Financial Year field:
Select 2029 to the screen to see the status of each period.
