Kit Specifications

I don’t see it form the screen shots but is this going to include the functionality to change or sub kit components on the fly during order entry?

Sometimes the price used in the kit is discounted from the unit price. That can cause an issue if one of the kit components is returned and you need to give the customer a credit.  We do have clients using 3rd kit software that do not support this scenario.

This would be a great addition. The fact that Acumatica does not do kits is THE SINGLE REASON why we have not purchased Acumatica and continue to look elsewhere for an ERP solution.

If Acumatica did have a feature like this it would be a game changer for us and really make the difference on us picking them as an ERP software.

Now I do understand that Acumatica has “kits” but, in our business, the Acumatica functionality is pretty much worthless.

We need a way to simply bundle up stock or non-stock items (ie. labor) and price out a simple kit assembly. Our business gets these requests on the daily and the method to do this in Acumatica is slow, burdensome and doesn't even give a price for what the kit would cost us or the customer. Like I said, for all intents and purposes it is basically an unusable element of the software.

Our business can’t be the only business that needs something like this..I find it hard to believe that Acumatica doesn't offer a kitting function.

Is this new functionality compatible with Shopify? For example, if we create a non-stock kit that consists of stock item components, will the Product Availability of the kit sync to the corresponding product in Shopify?

@mikeho  Currently, we are working on the ability to export the product availability for non-stock kit items from Acumatica to external systems like Shopify and BigCommerce. Once we are done, do you want to be beta tester? Please let us know.

Hi @KarthikGajendran - sure, I’d be happy to beta test for you.

@KarthikGajendran would be interested in testing as well, we have shopify, big commerce and amazon connector
