Hi

Can I Restrict Labor Item on Employee Time Cards for Project and Project Task.

Note I have Selecting the check box : Restrict Employees on Project Properties Section

This restrict Ilse to capture time to the project.

Now we need to ensure that she only capture time for a specific labor item specified to the Project and Project Task?

The Labor Rate (ScreenId=PM209900) has been defined per Project for the employee and per employee not linked to the project.

Hello,

First, if Employee has no Default Labor Item, populate the default setting in Employees screen:

Second, you may use Restriction Groups to grant access for Employees to Items, or to Hide access for Employees to Items.  Restriction Groups require time and testing to set up properly, and Restriction Grouops require ongoing maintenance as Employees and Items are added and subtracted. Restriction Groups, when set up properly, will appropriately restrict Labor Items on Timecards.
