Good day,

User can’t login from Outlook from the ACM Icon.  They are getting the attached message. The direction seem inconsistent. On each role?

Any suggestions?

Step 1: Verify and set up access rights:

  1. Sign in to Acumatica as an administrator.
  2. Navigate to the Access Rights by Screen (SM201020) form.
  3. In the tree, select Hidden > Outlook Add-In Read Mode.
  4. Set up access rights for the needed roles, or reset access rights by selecting Not Set in the Access Rights column for the Administrator role.
  5. Save your changes.

Step 2: If access rights are set correctly and the issue persists, a corrective script should be applied. Please submit a case to Acumatica Support to receive the script and any assistance you may need with running the script.

You’ll need to go to the access rights by screen form and grant access to this screen for all user roles that require it (if you’re using the default roles like Internal User or Internal Employee that all user as assigned to, that might be the quickest way to do it) or if you just want Sales People and AP to have access then grant access to the appropriate roles.
 

The Outlook Add-In item below which is the one you need to grant access to is under the folder called “Hidden” (it just means it’s not in any workspace)
