Working out GP %

Does anyone know how to show the GP % total as a % for a group of records by date periods?

The individual lines work across Sales/Profit/GP% but we need a total of the %. We tried AVG (in screenshot below) but it doesn’t work.

 

 

@astramathis30 The short answer is we cannot have a calculated value in the aggregation based on the other fields value. It is one of the known limitation of GI.

In the latest version of Acumatica (2024 R1) you can use GI’s as a data source for a GI. 

Therefore you could create a GI to do the grouping and aggregation and use that GI as data source to another GI where you can then calculate the percentage.

@ejmillar  Thankfully we are upgrading within a couple months. For now, we decided to use Velixo and combine the whole request.
