⚠️ Update Dec 11, 2023: The OAuth 2.0 and new API changes have been rolled out to Acumatica starting with 2023 R1 Update 13 and 2023 R2 Update 4. UPS recently published an announcement and how connection is established to their API. Partners or customer may have received the following notification. Acumatica is aware of this. Development work to address this change is being prioritized to address it in second-half of 2023.The changes impact the Acumatica direct UPS integration in 2 ways:New OAuth 2.0 for authentication. Since UPS is not issuing API access keys beginning June 5, 2023, which is how Acumatica performs authentication today, new customers or those in the process of implementation are immediately affected. The current workaround is to use our carrier aggregator integrations such as EasyPost or ShipE
Product update: our SmartSheet integration available on GitHub is is now compatible with 2021R2. This update also includes a fix for the issue of retrieving an incomplete list of SmartSheet templates.Follow the GitHub link to access the project: https://github.com/Acumatica/Acumatica-Smartsheet
We have updated the SmartSheet (Option 1) integration to be compatible with Acumatica version 2023 R1 and 2023 R2. Please navigate to the GitHub page to download the relevant packages. This will also be the last upgrade we provide for this free integration. We will not be testing for compatibility moving forward. However, if you need these upgrades with 2024 R1 and later, please contact Skyknack to receive a quote for the update. We have received feedback from SmartSheet integration customers, requesting for capabilities beyond what could be achieved with SmartSheet API or the integration. As a result, we are researching another solution for project planning, visual scheduling, resource allocation, and planning. One that ideally would be a more robust offering to help our users manage their Acumatica projects and resources more visually and intuitively. UPDATE: March 3, 2023Thank you to our partners and customers who signed up to try our Teams integration customization and provide feedback! As announced during the Summit 2023 Keynote session, Microsoft Teams integration will be available as part of the core product starting 2023 R1 as part of our new Experimental Features. We have made a lot of great improvements both in the integration as well as its usability. Yet we are just beginning.We will be ending the Managed Availability Program for Teams integration for any new requests. This means that if you were a partner or customer as part of the program, you can continue using the integration as a customization that was provided. However, support, ongoing maintenance, and support for future versions will no longer be available from April 4, 2023. We will continue to monitor this community site as well as our interaction with customers and partners to collect ideas and feedback to help improve our Microsoft Teams Integration (core).Sinc

You may have received notice from Avalara regarding support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 being disabled in the sandbox and production environment. If you are in Acumatica’s SaaS environment, we want to ensure you that our application supports TLS 1.2 for both server and client. No further action is necessary in light of this announcement.On-premise customers need to ensure TLS 1.2 is enabled on the application server where Acumatica ERP is hosted for Avalara integration to continue to work after Avalara applies the change.
