I have an Acumatica partner that I do some customizations for. After doing a customization, they want me to do some data clean up because there are fields in a custom table that need to be back filled and it would be WAY easier for me to update my custom tables in SQL Query Analyzer. I could write "one time” scripts and put them in a customization project, but without visibility to see if the script did what I wanted, and without access to be able to query the tables, it is a mind numbing exercise to have the partner run the script in the project, create an extract and send it to me. I’m sure you know what I am talking about here.I have my own databases hosted on Azure for my primary business and I can connect to them from my local PC, but the setup necessary to do that is not easy and requires some firewall changes and setting up Active Directory accounts. So, is there any way I can get access to run queries on SQL databases hosted at Acumatica, the cloud etc.? If anyone has done
Hello fellows,I’m facing a problem with running Acumatica instances, the instances are created but when it comes to run them it keeps loading then interrupted, any Ideas?
Does anyone know if its possible to login to Acumatica API using SSO/Active directory login?Per my research it doesn't look like its possible, only though user name and passwords logins.
Hello,We currently have an Active directory linked to our Acumatica user base, we have noticed over the past year users have entered the status “Disabled”, do you know what would cause this, is Active Director pushing something to Acumatica that would be causing this?Thank you
I have a client using Acumatica MFA with the option to only require a code on new or unknown devices only. It seems that Acumatica is requesting the code nearly every time even though they are logging in using the same computer.Has anyone experienced this of have any suggestions? We have tried changing browser settings to allow all cookies but still no luck.
Hello. So my DB has significantly increased in size. I suspect the culprit are orphaned snapshots. I had the warning signed in System → Tenants, that there were at least 2 orphaned snapshots but when I clicked on optimize database to remove does orphaned snapshots I got an error almost immediately and then the warning sign disappeared. Is there a way I can manually check in the SQL database to see if there are any orphaned snapshots and to delete all those records from the database? Also when I check the database size in the Acumatica Interface by going to System - Tenants - View Space Usage, it shows the database size is 110GB in total - but SQL Management Studio shows the Database Size is almost 300GB and when I do a manual backup thats about the size of the .bak file... Any pointers as what I can do to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior on 2020R2 and later versions? We are seeing this on a third client environment, and the second time for this particular environ. On Feb 28th Tenant 3 had a full snap shot taken and restored to Test Tenant 4. Beginning on the morning or March 3 when a user logged into tenant 4 (or switched from tenant 3 to tenant 4) and this exceeded the 2 concurrent user limit in tenant 4... users logged into tenant 3 were logged out with the message “You have been logged out due to exceeding the number of tenants in the system.”Restarting the application, via Application Updates SM203510, seems to have resolved the issue and we plan to add this step to our snapshot process for migrating data from PROD to QA/Training environs. The same thing happened on a Snapshot done on Jan 10, and users logging in throughout the day Jan 11 received this error. Acumatica restarted the server and we had no further issues.
I’m looking for a best practice concerning SQL backup. Is there a Acumatica-specific recommended recovery model (simple vs full) or is it based on standard recovery considerations?
Since Acumatica has moved a its content to the community page, I am currently looking for a Sales Demo Data for 2021R1 Build 21.110.0032 , does anybody know where to be able to find this so we can import it into a testing tenant
