Yes, first confirm if you are loading all the files from your FTP source. Go to your File Synchronization screen and find your file source. Then click the link to get a list of your versions. Make sure have the checkbox set for “Synchronize Folder Content”. When I sync, I grab all the files in the folder, so I do not have a Reg. Exp.
For #5, I believe you can see what has been prepared and imported. Go to the specific Import by Scenario and then look at the HISTORY tab. It lists the Version it is preparing/processing. From that screen, you can also click on the FILES link at the top to open the files and versions associated with that IS/Data Provider.
In the FTP sync, it seems that Acumatica is tracking the file date/time stamps and will not load it more than once. I have remote directories with multiple files generated daily. Also, with the change in “Sync Type”, your IS should Prepare and Import each version once until completed. So, if no new files are found, it should not duplicate your PO’s. If you’re experiencing something different, let me know and I can help determine why it might be doing that.
I spent some more time testing this and was able to find a workable solution. Thanks for the help guiding me in the right direction. Here is what I did.Created an FTP File Sync that synchronizes to a remote FTP location with multiple files. I have the checkbox set to "Synchronize Folder Content" so it grabs all the new files. Using the direction above, I created a File Sync schedule to sync up my files with the latest versions. Created my Import Scenario like I normally would using the Data Provider I created above. However, in the "Sync Type" field, change to "Incremental - New Only" or "Incremental - All Records". My FTP location only contains the latest version of the files, so either works for me. You might need to test the different types to see how it works with your data. Create an Automation schedule for your Import Scenario. It should perform both Prepare and Import together. This gets me most of what I need. First, it syncs my data files and loads into Acumatica. Ne
The biggest situation is when I’m trying to consolidate separate phone fields into 1. I have logic like:Variable =IIf([Field Phone 1] > ‘’, [Field Phone 1], ‘’)Variable =IIf([Field Phone 2] > ‘’, [Field Phone 2], ‘’)Variable =IIf([Field Phone 3] > ‘’, [Field Phone 3], ‘’)Variable =IIf([Field Phone 4] > ‘’, [Field Phone 4], ‘’)[New Field Phone] = Variable // Set a new field to the Variable=IIf(Variable > ‘’, Variable, ‘’) // Use Variable in a formula. The above is an example and much simpler that what I am doing. But this should give you an idea of what I am trying to accomplish.
Yes, I did try and “un-hide” them and I got the same results. I ended up going a different route.
A quick question. Is it possible to make that combobox a multi-select? If so, how would I do that?
Actually, I played around with this and was able to make the modification. Worked great. Thanks for the help.
That might be the problem. I am only adding the code I listed above. I’m new to Acumatica and learning quickly, but I am not modifying any code directly. Everything I do is through the UI. Also, we are on a hosted solution. If this is something I can do from the Project Editor, then please let me know where and I will try it.
One other observation: When I went to the demo entity and tried the same thing, it showed other item classes and it was not in Migration Mode. That’s why I was asking of there was a GL setting or configuration that may have been missed.
I was aware of that setting, but I was thought it was only necessary to set when I was running the import scenario. It seems to be working now, thanks for the quick response.
