@Omar Ghazi we would be interested in setting up the Teams Integration - Can contact Bangert as well.
The downside as I see it of this very limited use of Tasks (ie sub-jobs in Procore language) is that they are the only aspect of a project that can be scheduled, so any forecasting of cost or cash flow is very limited. And assigning and scheduling resources is also very limited. A much more detailed Task list could start to alleviate this - but then your either have an overly detailed schedule of values for Customers (all task are both cost and revenue), or a disconnect between costs and revenue if you break the tasks up. A sub-task, and maybe even one more level for a 3 tier task system, with sub-task rolling up to the parent task would allow parent tasks to be revenue tasks (phases, cost codes, whatever works), and subtasks to be cost tasks, with schedule, resource allocation, and % complete tracking that all drive the parent Task. Alternatively - a robust integration with MS Project ( or even a more robust Smartsheet integration) would allow data for tasks, resources, time entry e
@Doug Johnson I am using 20R2 - I am using the latest customization for 20R2, but maybe upgrading to 21R1 will work better? Thanks
Hi All, I have installed the updated 20R2 SS customization, and while the refresh token button works great, I am still getting the same Start Date / Duration errors: I’ve seen numerous other posts referencing this same issue. If I map just Task Name > Task ID and Comments > Description the sync works fine. It is only when including dates that I am still having issues. On a related note - are dependency and Ghant view on the development teams radar as features to add? They would be really great elements to round out a basic project management feature set for Acumatica. Thanks,
We were looking for the same features. I believe there is an existing Acumatica supported customization project for this functionality (for a setup and maintenance fee) but it would be great to have it out of the box.
@Doug Johnson and @ajoy I know that you have mentioned that this is a community supported customization, but based on press releases from both companies, it sounded like this was a much more robust partnership...Smartsheet Partners with Acumatica to Deliver Enterprise-Grade Business Management Platform | SmartsheetAcumatica-Smartsheet Integration - Marketplace | Acumatica Cloud ERPThe Smartsheet ‘Templates’ that are available are only the Smartsheet Pre-Built Templates, not custom user templates. As the fields available in Acumatica are relatively fixed, and the only templates available through Smartsheet are their standard templates, is there someone at Smartsheet that could build a Acumatica specific Pre-Built Template that mapped the key project fields in Acumatica. It seems the mapping should be default / automatic between the system fields.I am getting issues with errors that prevent even generating the sync (previously posted on, no solutions). We were counting on this integ
My understanding from Smartsheet is that the SS templates available are only the SS generated ones (not the ones you create yourself). If SS wanted to support this partnership, it would be great to have a SS template that is made specifically for mapping to Acumatica projects.
I have the SmartSheet integration up and running (2020R2). I can sync to SS prior to entering any tasks, but as soon as I enter a task sync fails and I get the following:End Dates on dependency enabled sheets cannot be created/updated. Please update either the Duration of Start Date column. I have entered start and end dates, and tested multiple versions of updating these values, as well as Duration. In addition the Synchronize Smartsheet process form is not appearing in the menu. Any thoughts?EDIT: I see that there is a long thread on variations of this error:Smartsheet Integration Error | Community (acumatica.com)
