Ramp is one of, if not the, best corporate card solution out there. I would love to see an integration with Acumatica. Their integration with Net Suite is impressive.
I spoke with Procore this about moving away from Acumatica’s connected, and moving onto Procore’s connector. Procore stated that there is no down time for end users during the migration. Procore’s connecter is easier to use, the only loss of functionality is the ability to sync vendor insurance, but you gain the ability to sync invoices with commitments. If anyone has made the switch I would love to hear how your experience went. I feel like there will be issues with data migrating correctly.
@Brian Rowerdink we elected to use “Branches” for our account locations, and “Sub Accounts” for service lines. This way, we can add a new branch if we expand operations to a new geographic area, and continue using the same sub accounts for our service lines.
If you come across an easy fix to this, please let us know! Currently, Acumatica creates a Receivables invoice for each individual owner pay application. Retainage is typically billed to the owner in one pay app (or two if partial retainage release is allowed). It would reduce the clutter, and make application of payment easier if the released retainage was consolidated into one Invoice.
I agree -- the import scenario is the way to go here. I noticed (in November) that all bills entered prior to our AP department selecting “1099 vendor” and Box 7, were not showing up on my 1099 reports. I provided a list of all vendors who needed the 1099 box updated, and my support team was able to update these with an import scenario.
Hi, You mentioned “Gross Profit Projected”. I assume this is original Gross Profit, plus/minus the change from the projected costs to complete? If so, which report is running this for you? My understanding is that the projections made in Acumatica do not affect Gross Profit. Thanks!
Our project managers review their cost vs actual amounts on a monthly basis. When they forecast the cost remaining per line item, this has direct effect on the estimated gross profit remaining (if est. cost to complete goes down, GP goes up, and vice versa). However, the forecast feature in Acumatica doesn’t have an effect on Gross Profit. And, neither of these fields are updated on the WIP report. Thus, we are still calculating the monthly over/under billing in excel.
