@suemackeown13 Can you advise of this Customization from Acumatica? I have requested in the past to Professional Services and they did not have. I am only seeing Customization for Project Billing but not seeing a customization w/out project billing.
Great. The @me was the key thing that needed to occur so that the Generic Inquiry results limit to the user logged in and if that user / contact is part of Customer whether it be Parent or Child. I appreciate the update on a late Friday afternoon! Thanks All!
I am trying to determine the same thing. The below Question on Community is similar, but they informed they had to build a Customization to push through the parameter of login. But maybe someone at Acumatica or another member can advise otherwise.
I’m curious where this is stored as well. Reviewing setting with customer today and wanted to advise more about this setting.. tested and can not find where history is stored.
This is not the same. In product such as Sage 500 there was Account Group and Codes enabled without buying or enabling Project Accounting. It was a simple way to track on User Def Group such as Job or Event when entering an AR or AP Invoice at the line level and the group would then carry to GL Transaction posting as well. Having to use Segment for this instead is not the best solution when users are used to having the functionality but don’t want to spend money on Project Accounting just for this function.

I’m assuming this is not out yet even though 2021 R2 was mentioned. Will this only work with EDI Add in or can this be used for Change Orders created manually in Acumatica and then be able to show differences? Looking for something similar to Sage 500 functionality where if you enable SO Change Orders like the Customization spec write up attached.
What is the customization?
Finding that the sub report route only allows for image files like tif, png.. but not pdf. The attached file prints in sub report only if image. The design spec mentioned in the thread also appears to be for billing cycles and project accounting. Has anything been developed in the past year or so that allows for this now? For instance. If a pdf is attached to an Invoice, there should be option to include that pdf attachment in addition to the printed invoice attachment when the email record is created. Customers have been asking me this for 7 years.
Not sure if I am off base here but the function of Cancel and Correct Invoice does not affect Stock and only affects Revenue. The Correct Invoice is Actions drop down in SO Invoice with automatically create a Credit Memo and also create a New Invoice. I have a customization request into Acumatica on this and will also be reviewing with Product Mgt team. The issue is that the Drop Ship Accrual debit does not occur until AR Invoice is created. When in reality it should occur at the time the Drop Ship is “Received.”
