Hi Jeremy,Thanks, your suggestion is good. What I used to do with Sage 300 was the following:Use an Excel Amortization Schedule for each mortgage loan (payable and receivable) that calculated the P+I amounts for the term of the loan.In a separate tab, build an import layout for the year’s payments. Open all the fiscal periods for the current fiscal year, then import all payments for all months in the year. Sage 300 is batch-based, so I would just post the batch into the current and future periods. Finally, close / lock the future periods. For monthly loan payments that were fixed principal + interest at a variable rate, I would set up a recurring entry, but leave the interest distribution amount as $0.00. When the payment cleared the bank, or when I received the payment notification from the lender, I edited the interest distribution for the correct interest then posted.I can do the same in Acumatica. I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to create a recurring entry where the allo
Has anyone been able to do this? I have a client that wants to do the same thing - use the Mobile App on an iPad, take a picture of a shipment package contents with the iPad and then upload the picture file to the shipment. The ability to attached / upload files to Quotes and Sales Orders is there, but it is not available on a Shipment.I found another Community posting where it was suggested to take the picture with the iPad, then switch to / login to the Acumatica ERP via the browser, open the shipment and then use the Files option to select and upload the picture from the iPad (don’t have the post reference - If I can find it again, I’ll post it here). This works but is counter-intuitive to using the mobile app.
Thanks, @Chris Hackett. I will inquire with Support.
Will the customization for Inventory Turnover be made available for 2022 R1? My client is on 2022 R1 Build 22.114.0029. Upgraded to 2022 R1 on Sept 23 2022. Client did not want to upgrade to 2022 R2 as it has only been just released (2022-09-15).Client has customizations that were tested on 2022 R1 and needed to migrate from 2020 R1 and di not have time or resources to re-test customizations on 2022 R2.Client is asking for an Inventory Turnover inquiry / report. Would be great if the customization for Inventory Turnover could me made available for 2022 R1.
Hi Eric… last month I had a client ask the exact same question - can pop-up notes on products added to a quote or sales order be configured to pop-up every time the quote / sales order is opened.Have you cross posted this question in the Ideas forum?
My client just upgraded from 2020R2 to 2022R1. They asked me the exact same question - how to change the default setting of ‘Recalculate Unit Prices’ from checked (True) to unchecked (false) in the Copy To dialog box. They are copying from a Quote to a Sales Order. Quote prices are valid for 30 days from quote issue. When the client accepts and signs back quote, my client does not want the unit prices changing from quote to sales order when the sales rep uses the COPY ORDER function to open the Copy To dialog box. their preference is to have the option to Recalculate Unit Prices, but default it as unchecked. This should be a configuration setting somewhere in the Sales Order Preferences or on the Order Type settings.
@Chris HackettHi Chris, The Community Meetup - Distribution Show & Tell: Side Panels was excellent! I was making copious notes throughout and regret that I was unable to keep my eyes on the screen at all times when the presenters were showing their example Side Panels. I saw that the session was being recorded… I’d really like to replay and confirm my notes, and share with my work colleagues. Will a link to the session recording be made available? Will it be posted to this topic?

@mpowell,I can think of three possible ways of applying a 2.5% charge to the item or the invoice.Set your sell price at $102.50, i.e. the credit card price. Set up a discount for 2.439024% to be applied to cash sales. Assign the discount to cash customers. In this case, on a sales order without the discount the unit sell will be $102.50. With the discount the unit sell will be $100.00. The 2.5% “fee” for paying by credit card will not be tracked separately.Enter a negative discount percent on the line item(s). This will then calculate as a negative discount amount and be added to the line item price. In this case, on a sales order without the -2.5% discount the unit sell will be $100.00. With the -2.5% discount the unit sell will be $102.50. The 2.5% “fee” for paying by credit card will not be tracked separately. Create a Shipping Terms that calculates as 2.5% of invoice, based on Sales Order. In this case, the unit sell will be $100.00 and the 2.5% fee will be calculated and allocated t
