Hi Everyone, We are collecting feedback from our customers about any challenges and pain points they face while using Acumatica via the survey linked below. We would appreciate your feedback. It could be related to the commerce connectors or related to any other area of the ERP (CRM, Shipping, Financials, etc) Examples: Processing Returns and Refunds are hard, Importing the orders through the connector is hard, Taxes issues etc.,We’d also like to understand which external apps you’re using to supplement features within Acumatica. This could be due to Acumatica not offering the same functionality or the Acumatica functionality is not user friendly. Please use this survey as an opportunity to share with us what you’d like to see improved. If you are open to it, we will schedule a call with each of you to collect more feedback, better understand your position and (hopefully) work to provide a solution. Dummy AttributeDescription: The Matrix Inventory feature in 2020R1 and 2020R2 requires the Template Item to have 2 attributes (ie color, size) to create Matrix Items. In some cases eCommerce merchants only require 1 attribute (ie size). This customization package will allow you to create a Dummy Attribute to fill the second, unneeded, Attribute but not display that Dummy Attribute on the eCommerce site.Works with: 20R1, 20R2Packages:Both packages are available on Github as Open Source solutions. Since Thursday August 6, we are seeing our Amazon FBM orders not sync into the system consistently. Results are sporadic at best, some come over right away, others come over 6 hours later and this is not sustainable. Anyone know if anything has changed on how Amazon is sending sales orders over for FBM? Most orders I cannot even see in the sync history if there is an error, they just do not populateNo one knows what to do to fix
Hi everyone,I'm looking for guidance on syncing color information from Acumatica to Shopify using the native Shopify Connector on 2026 R1.The requirementIn Acumatica, product color is stored as a descriptive name. On the Shopify side we're populating a Color metafield, which expects a hexadecimal value rather than the name:Black → #000000 White → #FFFFFF Smoke → #808080 Dark Smoke → #4A4A4AWhat I've triedCreated a Substitution List mapping the Acumatica color names to their hex values, and referenced it in the Shopify Entity Mapping. The substitution was not applied and no hex value was exported. Changed the Acumatica color field to store the hex value directly (for example, #000000) and re-synced the product. The Shopify color metafield still was not populated. Tried the following expression in the entity mapping: =SubstituteListed([shopify.color-pattern], 'Metacolor') — the expression editor returns an error that the function is undefined. My questionsIs there a supported way to trans
Hi Everyone,We're encountering a customer sync issue with the BigCommerce Commerce Connector. We use a single Generic Guest Customer Account in BC201000 to store guest customers. When a guest customer later registers as a standalone customer in BigCommerce, Acumatica attempts to create a new customer record but the sync fails with the following error:“ The Customer record with the same field or fields (user@email.com) in the ERP system has already been synchronized with another Customer record with external ID user@email.com.” We searched the BCSyncStatus table (using both a GI and the All Records tab) but found no mapping for the reported external ID. We also tried making the original guest location inactive and changing its email address, but the error persists. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
There is a scenario that I am looking to solve for. Customer puts in CAD shopify order/paid in CAD but I would like that order to get added into Acumatica as a USD order to avoid any currency exchange rounding issues between shopify payout and bank reconcilation. Any suggestions?
We are using the native Amazon Connector (BC201020), importing seller-fulfilled orders.I originally set up an item as a stock item and added its ASIN as an Alternate ID (Global type) on the Cross-Reference tab. We later decided the item should be a non-stock item instead. I created the non-stock item, removed the cross-reference row from the stock item (and saved), and added the same ASIN as a Global cross-reference on the non-stock item. When the Amazon Connector imports an order containing that ASIN, it errors out saying the cross-reference exists on two items — both the original stock item and the new non-stock item.**What I've checked:**- Reopened the stock item (IN202500) — the cross-reference row is not visible on the Cross-Reference tab.- The non-stock item (IN202000) shows exactly one row for the ASIN, Alternate Type = Global.- Only one UOM row exists per item; no duplicates within either item.**Questions:**1. Is there a place other than the item's Cross-Reference tab (e.g., a
We have a client who is live on BigCommerce and wants to import their existing stock item catalog into Acumatica first to get Stock items set up and the External ID links established, then switch the sync direction to Export with Acumatica as the master going forward. Has anyone done this before? What's the recommended way to manage this? can we map item class using a custom field from BC to Acumatica to match it to the correct item class using import mapping? And once you flip to Export, does the connector pick up the existing External ID links and update the BC products cleanly without creating duplicates?
Is there a way we can sync the actual HTML code to the shopify product description?
Hi everyone,I'm currently working on an SPS Commerce integration project with Acumatica and was wondering if there is any public documentation that explains the overall integration process and setup. If anyone has implementation guides, knowledge base articles, training materials, or can point me to the appropriate documentation, I would greatly appreciate it.
Looking for ways to import from acumatica the template id media url and the matrix item medial url. The idea is that if one of the matrix items is not available to sell in shopify then Acumatica will mark that variant as not sellable and shopify does not show that specific image of that matrix item in the shopify listing page. Any suggestions? Thanks!
We are using the native shopify connecter with bidirectional sync for sales orders - and i found that if i cancel orders is shopify, it cancels the order in acumatica properly.but if i cancel the order in Acumatica, the moves to “Cancelled” in shopify - but the payment does not get “Voided”, it just remains authorized and i have no way to manually cancel it in shopify. i reached out to shopify plus support and they said it needs to be done by the API.Anyone have any insight into this?
Hi Everyone,I am working with Acumatica 2024R1 (Build 24.100.0139). I have one BigC order placed like below, initially order synced from BigC to Acumatica. Now, I updated line item qty from 1 to 2 in Acumatica and trying to sync this order from Acumatica to BigC but getting error like: “Error: v2/orders does not support product option modifiers with product_option_type = Configurable_Entry_File;Status: BadRequest”Can you suggested possible root cause and fix.
Is there any way to have a discount calculate from a group level but apply the discount as a line discount instead of a document discount? The example is: we give a qty discount on a specific brand (which is an item class), 2+ = 10% discount / 4+ = 20% discount.I can make it give the proper discount using a document discount, however, the problem this is more difficult for reports where we track profitability per item sku and also returns etc. As the line amount per unit doesn’t reflect the discount. I don’t think there is a way to do what I want but thought I would check.
Shopify store uses a custom app that relies on the exchangeV2 field from Shopify Order API. This field was deprecated in April 2025 and is being phased out following Shopify's standard API versioning cycle. You need to migrate to the Returns API before April 1, 2027. The app(s) impacted are: Acumatica ERP
Is there a an inquiry similar to Inventory Planner that has ‘Open to Buy” calculations in Acumatica? Something similar to this view:
Is there a way to map a value to the Location Billing address in Shopify? I noticed Acumatica Locations don’t have billing info.Alternatively, if I use a Parent/Child customer model in Acumatica (instead of multiple locations) is it possible to map the child customer to a Location in Shopify?
I’m currently testing exporting Customers from Acumatica to Shopify (as Companies for B2B) and had a couple of questions:Is there a way to have the Company ID in Shopify match the Customer ID from Acumatica? Ideally, I’d like to keep them aligned for easier tracking and reconciliation. I enabled “Import Company Contacts as Customers” along with bidirectional sync. This successfully creates customers in Acumatica when they’re assigned to company locations in Shopify. However, I’m running into an issue with phone numbers:Shopify always includes the country code (e.g., +1) Acumatica’s phone input mask doesn’t accept this format This results in an error during import: “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”Has anyone dealt with this before?
We are setting up the native connector with Shopify B2B.In Acumatica, we have customers set up with multiple Locations — for example, a company with several office branches, each with its own address. How do we configure the connector so that when a B2B order is placed from a specific company location in Shopify:- The Ship-To address on the Sales Order becomes the address of that location (the office that placed the order)- The Bill-To address remains the address of the parent company
When setting up integration between Acumatica and Amazon using native connector, it is required to create Encryption Certificate on the SM200530 screen. This certificate is used to encrypt customer data fetched from Amazon. I could not find clear instructions on how to do it, especially if you’re a MacOS or Linux user.1 Generate a private keyThis creates a 2048-bit RSA private key. Keep this file secure -- it's the foundation of your certificate.Open Terminal app on your Mac or Linux machine, navigate to a folder where you would like to save the certificate file. And run the following command:openssl genrsa -out key.pem 2048The output file key.pem is your private key. Never share this. 2 Create a certificate signing request (CSR)This command generates a CSR based on your private key. OpenSSL will prompt you for several fields that identify your certificate. You can press Enter to skip any optional field.openssl req -new -sha256 -key key.pem -out csr.csrYou will be asked to fill in the
We have an item that we would like to change the Lot/Serial Class from NOTTRACKED to WHEN USED. I made sure there are no open documents but I am still not able to. According to this older post, it doesnt appear possible. We are on 25R2. I just wanted to make sure there isnt a trick I’m missing. I was really hoping I dont need to create a new item. we are currently just putting the serial in notes on the doc line.
Is there a way to map Tracking URL field on the PACKAGES tab of a Shipment to Shopify Tracking URL field?I see this field in the mapping: However, in the ERP Object / ERP Field / Value, I don’t see anything representing this field:
Hello Friends,I have a few questions for those who are Amazon Sellers and use Acumatica, of course. I would like to know if someone has experienced what I am going through currently and if you wouldn’t mind sharing with me how you handle it?A few notes about us so you have a better understanding, we get hundreds of orders everyday, we do not have Amazon payments connected to Acumatica so we manually process payments for every order in bulk. I also believe the person who was before me did things incorrectly and she trained me and so I feel like I am making our books not have accurate information because of that.First question, I was wondering if you could tell me how you make sure that all the orders that Amazon says you have are in Acumatica? Currently I download an All Orders report for the time frame I want, and then I have a report in Acumatica that pulls all the sales order for the same time frame (I might do a few days overlap in case of delayed transactions). I then do a Vlookup
Starting January 1, 2026, Shopify has updated the way custom apps are created and managed, moving away from the legacy “custom app” model to a more secure and standardized approach through the Shopify Dev Dashboard. This change aligns with Shopify’s broader focus on improving app security, access control, and developer experience. We need to support custom app for partners that test on local instances and can not connect to our public app. With the new flow, custom apps are now created directly within the Shopify Admin using the Dev Dashboard, providing better visibility into app permissions, API credentials, and lifecycle management. This document outlines the updated process, highlights key differences from the previous approach, and guides you step-by-step through creating and configuring a custom app using the new system.****The custom apps that have already been created will continue to function as intended.
