Approvals

Hi, I have a client that has a question for the Approvals grid under Time and expenses. In screenshot 1 they want to know why the note section is not highlighted like it is in Bills & Adjustments in screenshot 2. I tested in our demo and same thing. Is this by design? Linking invoices with journals

Is there a way to see history of journal transactions against an invoice?Currently, if I have to create a journal for any reason, I put a note on the invoice to flag to myself that there is a journal transaction related to it. It would be great to be able to go into an invoice and see journal transactions directly related to it.

Including Non GST items on Tax Reports

Hi,I have a client who needs to report GST in Canada on the Sales and Purchases side. However, they have multiple AP or AR line items under one invoice that could include GST and Non-GST items. I am having issues how to reflect both GST and Non-GST amounts on the Tax Details or Tax Summary reports under % Taxes in Acumatica. Here is an example of the Reporting Group I have setup on the Purchases (AP) side. I have also created two separate tax zones for GST and GST Exempt here are print screen of those: What am I doing wrong? Any help would be great.Thanks,Frances

Code 128 barcode with Customer order ref and shipment number

Hi community,I am trying to solve the problem as below. Appreciate any comments and help would be really awesome.I am trying to print the barcode Code 128 for the following with application identifiers. My barcode still is not scannable for some reason. I have tried multiple things which doesn't seem its liking it.I am using a symbal scanner which accepts the below input but is not scannable for my vendors'400'+[SOOrder.CustomerOrderNbr]+'90'+[SOShipment.ShipmentNbr]I am using the following settings for my barcodes:According to GS1 (400) is customer PO number (90) is shipment number'(400)'+[SOOrder.CustomerOrderNbr]+'(90)'+[SOShipment.ShipmentNbr] Can I get some help on this one please?

Recalculate Customer Balance - ARInvoice Last Modified Date

Hi Everyone,We have a nightly automation that recalculates the customer balance via the “Recalculate Customer Balance” screen. We recently created a data warehouse to pull our invoice and other data together to join with our other financial systems to create a consolidated view. We are pulling data from the ARInvoice table via the REST API and loading into the database. That all works great except for the last modified date. The biggest issue is that the “Recalculate Customer Balance” process that runs nightly is putting the date and time of that automation in the last modified fields in our ARInvoice table. Therefore I can’t pull that table and only capture new activity. Any ideas on how to get the “Recalculate Customer Balance” nightly job to stop changing the last modified date or another creative way to get last modified for ARInvoices? We’re running Acumatica Cloud ERP 2021 R2 Build 21.223.0012. Thanks,Tom

GI with both default address and billing address?

Hi everyone, I’ve always struggled with how to pull two address types into a single GI, and right now I really need it. The GI I’m working on needs the Default Address (or shipping address) and the Billing Address info. Attached is an XML from my test environment. The problem I’m having is either no Billing Address info pulls through, or it pulls the same address as default. If I change Billing Address on customer it doesn’t show in the GI. Would really appreciate the help!

Filter Report by Date Parameter

I have created a Date Parameter for a custom report. I am trying to filter the report by this parameter, the result is coming back with no data (a blank report). I am selecting a date that i am 100% sure is in the dataset because i have a raw dump of the data. What am I missing, why is my filter not working? Does this have something to do with the values being seen as text instead of date?

Business event to generate a follow up task for accounts with declining sales?

Hello! I’m trying to configure a business event that will look at a customer’s monthly sales vs last months sales and generate a task for a sales rep to follow up on. I am running into issues because my GI uses a formula to note the accounts with declining sales and there’s a grouping by account (GI looks at invoices and is summing by account). Both formulas and groupings are on the list of things to avoid when building a business event. Anyone have any ideas on how to look at this type of data and trigger the business event that will actually work? Thanks!

Processing Status (ARPayment\CCPaymentStateDesc) field doesn't work in GI

Has anyone found a way to get the Processing Status (ARPayment\CCPaymentStateDesc) to display in a GI? It is always blank in the GI, even though if you go into the form there is data displayed for the field. Would be EXTREMELY helpful to be able to see and filter for transactions that have declined, etc.

This is not of my own invention but something that I learned how to do on the Acumatica Community forums and have had the need for on many occasions for varying scenarios. Truncate field length - Report Designer

Looking for a way to decrease the length of the SOShipLine.InventoryID_description field on a pick list. Currently prints the entire value (up to 250 characters but only want it to print the first 50 characters. Have “Can Grow” set to False.

I have our logo on the AR Invoice and it looks like it’s as far left that I can get it in Report Designer (aligned with the Bill To text below) but when I print it has space (not aligned with company and Bill To info just below it).What am I doing wrong?

A/P Transaction Report Needed for Non-Stock Items

We have a non-stock item we use for A/P that tracks the labor used for one of our mechanics (it’s a vendor). We would like a report that can give us the number of hours and the rate for that item. We have been able to run the Purchase Order report for the item, but we do not use a PO every time we have them work on our equipment. Thanks in advance for your help! ~Audrey

Report Designer Error Message 'Element' is an invalid XmlNodeType.

I was making some changes to the Project Issue report and now it is completely inaccessible. Usually if there is an issue I can go back to a previous version, but the system isn’t even allowing access to the screen where I can select an inactive version. When I click on Project Issue Form under Project Management/Reports, I get the “We’re sorry an error has occurred...” message. When I click on show trace it tells me the error is 'Element' is an invalid XmlNodeType.I also tried opening the report directly from report designer and receive an error message there stating “The designer loader did not provide a root component but has not indicated why.”How do I fix this? Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thank you!

2023 R1 release table change

We just upgraded to the latest acumatica version R1 2023 and the StoragePlaceStatus status table is now obsolete. I need quantity info from table for one of our generic inquiries. Does anyone know which table may now contain that datafield that I am looking for. Or is there a map available somewhere of the tables?

Complex GI Scenario

Hi, We are building a complicated GI scenario related to a custom margin calculation and looking for some help. Here’s the scenario: We sell item A (stock item) and upgrades associated with item A (non-stock item we will call item B). We have a pricing tool that provides a suggested price (we call this MSRP) - on the Sales Order we have created a UDF that our team enters the MSRP. We are looking to measure our Sales team performance by calculating the % difference between the unit price on item A and item B against MSRP. Here is a simple example:SO0000012 MSRP (suggested price) of $5000 Unit Price Item A $4500 Unit Price Item B $1500 In this scenario, the math would be as follows:((Total Price of A + B)/(MSRP)-1) x 100((4500+1500)/5000)-1)x10020% - This would be a favorable margin by the sales rep. Filtering by SOOrder status in Report Designer

Hi, I am trying to replicate the filters shown below in the report designer, but I am having some difficulty doing this. It seems that the report designer doesn’t like me using the full name of the status (e.g. Open, On Hold) but rather it prefers the single letter representation of the status. So far I have found that letters like ‘O’ and ‘H’ work as the filter value from looking at other existing reports, but I am not sure where to find the full list of letters related to these statuses. Is there a screen in the system or a table that I need to look at which will provide me with all the available statuses and their associated letter representations? Kind regards,Andrew

Need Assistance Setting Up An Email Template

We are trying to figure if there is a way to setup an email template for the Inventory Register Details report (IN614000).Current Process: The user enters a new record using the Issues screen (IN302000) and then they run the Inventory Register Details report (IN614000). After reviewing the report they click the Send button which opens the Email Activity screen. The user then has to enter the To address, the Subject, and the Message. Is there a way you setup a template for this report so they user doesn’t need to fill in all the information each time they send the report?Thank you!
