In 2022 R2 Acumatica introduced experimental features to make it easier for customers to test new capabilities and provide feedback. Experimental features are included in the standard product download and can be easily enabled on the enable/disable features screen or by turning on a feature switch. Acumatica will end support for Microsoft SQL Server 2019 starting with Acumatica 2026 R2. Any deployment—PCS, on-premise, or OEM—that uses SQL Server 2019 will not be supported on or after this release. This applies to production and sandbox environments.SQL Server 2019 will continue to run on Acumatica versions 2026 R1 and earlier, but Acumatica will not provide fixes or assistance for issues caused by this database version. Why This Change Is NecessaryMicrosoft has already ended mainstream support for SQL Server 2019 and placed it under extended support. Extended support limits the level of fixes and security enhancements available to customers.Acumatica needs to ensure that customers operate on a modern, secure, and stable database foundation. Moving forward with SQL Server 2022 and SQL Server 2025 helps keep the platform aligned with current technology standards. It also positions environments to benefit from updated security capabilities introduced in newer SQL releases.This decis

We have updated the SmartSheet (Option 1) integration to be compatible with Acumatica version 2023 R1 and 2023 R2. Please navigate to the GitHub page to download the relevant packages. This will also be the last upgrade we provide for this free integration. We will not be testing for compatibility moving forward. However, if you need these upgrades with 2024 R1 and later, please contact Skyknack to receive a quote for the update. We have received feedback from SmartSheet integration customers, requesting for capabilities beyond what could be achieved with SmartSheet API or the integration. As a result, we are researching another solution for project planning, visual scheduling, resource allocation, and planning. One that ideally would be a more robust offering to help our users manage their Acumatica projects and resources more visually and intuitively.
